Longwood Industries, Inc a/d/b/a OnceDriven.com Reviews (714)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
It's unfortunate that these steps must be taken to get the refund that is "guaranteed". I hope that the truth about this company's business practices can be disseminated to consumers like me.
Regards,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] claims that the representative "conveniently" never stated that there would be no refund eligibility if her vehicle hadn't sold.  This is clearly not true.  Once Driven representatives are required to read a mandatory refund statement (and the customer must agree to the refund terms) before processing payment for its service.  In addition, Once Driven does not "Scam" anyone.  The terms of service for Once Driven's refund policy are clearly stated on each call before payment can be processed.  These terms are also emailed to our customers as soon as the payment has been processed.  And, our customers have unlimited access to these terms of service at any time by visiting our website. Is it possible that Ms. [redacted]  misunderstood the terms of service?  If so, Once Driven  is willing to entertain options for a possible partial refund.possible Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

AMS apologizes for the delay of Mr. [redacted]'s refund.  The refund of $220 was processed today.  Mr. [redacted] will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear back to his credit card account.

Sincerely,

Mr. [redacted] purchased his listing with Once Driven on 8/16/2016.  Before Mr. [redacted]'s payment could be processed, he was read (and agreed to) Once Driven's 45-Day refund policy.  For the Revdex.com's convenience, I have supplied the recording of this call , where Mr. [redacted] agrees to Once...

Driven's terms of service.  Had Mr. [redacted] sold his motorcycle through a source not provided from Once Driven within the first 45 days of listing with us, he would have been eligible for a refund.  Since his motorcycle has not sold, Once Driven will continue to list his motorcycle until it is sold.  At the time this response, Mr. [redacted]'s listing has been reviewed by potential buyers 196 times.  Once Driven will continue to aggressively marketing his motorcycle until it is sold.Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

Mr. [redacted] will be credited the full refund amount today.  Due to a recent merchant change, Mr. [redacted] refund was not successfully processed as originally reported.  I have confirmed that all refunds processed as of today will process successfully.  Mr. [redacted] full refund will be processed today, and back to his card account within 3-5 business days.

Sincerely,

Mr. [redacted] asserts that Longwood
Industries ("Longwood") is ignoring Craigslist's request not to
contact posters with other commercial interests.  To the
contrary, Longwood simply believes Craigslist meant that language to apply
only to random marketers (like a...

credit card company) scouring the
web to pitch something completely unrelated to
why the poster placed their contact information online in the first
place. If the poster's goal is to sell their vehicle and Longwood has
a viable alternative to help them achieve their goal, who would object to
that?  If they do, Longwood will certainly respect their wishes.
Longwood will not contact Mr. [redacted] at the number provided.
With that said, we would like to clarify two things stated by Mr. [redacted].
First, he stated that we ignored
his do-not-call requests.  We have no record of him contacting any of our
reps from the number provided in the complaint.  Every rep is trained to
record every request and immediately enter it into the system.  Second,
Mr. [redacted] states that Longwood is not a non-profit organization (“OnceDriven”
is a DBA for Longwood).  As the Revdex.com knows, Longwood is a non-profit
organization.
Thank you for giving us an
opportunity to respond.

Mr. [redacted] seems to be confused about Once Driven's terms of service.  Once Driven does have a 45 Day Money Back Guarantee (See Attached), but the guarantee does not include refund eligibility if the sellers vehicle has not been sold.  Once Driven also does not have a processing fee of...

$35.  The processing fee for refunded accounts is $29.  Had Mr. [redacted] sold his vehicle by other means within the first 45 days of placing his listing with Once Driven and had submitted a valid refund request, he would have been issued a refund of $160 ($189 minus the $29 processing fee).

These are all terms that were disclosed to Mr. [redacted] before he authorized Once Driven to process his payment of $189 on 5/12/2014 at 4:31 P.M. EST.

Mr. [redacted]'s RV listing will be featured with Once Driven until it is sold at no additional fee per the attached guarantee agreement.

Sincerely,

[redacted]

The phone number provided by Mr. [redacted] in his complaint has been added to the Once Driven Do-Not-Call database, and will not be contacted again. On behalf of Once Driven we apologize for any inconvenience to Mr. [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

I am responding on behalf
of OnceDriven to Mr. [redacted]’s December 30, 2014 complaint
regarding OnceDriven’s service.
First, Mr. [redacted] states that his phone number was taken from a classified
website in violation of that site’s terms.  It is important...

for Mr. [redacted]
to understand that his online ad may have been available on other sites and
that the language he references is not necessarily part of the ad, or part of
that site’s terms, when that is the case.
Second, Mr. [redacted] states that his vehicle was merely re-posted online by
OnceDriven.  OnceDriven does quite a bit more than simply re-post a
customer’s vehicle.  We are in constant communication with potential
buyers.  They contact OnceDriven’s representatives directly and we
reach out to them after they have posted ads on our sites expressing interest
in a particular vehicle.  In addition to reaching out to potential buyers
(and as part of the processing fee), OnceDriven utilizes social media (e.g., a
paid service through [redacted]) and pays to advertise with Ad Partners such as
[redacted].
As Mr. [redacted] sold his vehicle on his own and was not completely satisfied with
the service, we will in good faith process a full refund of $189.  Please
allow a few business days for a credit to appear in his account.
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond.  Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Once Driven apologizes for any inconvenience that Mr. [redacted] may have experienced.  He will not be contacted again.

Sincerely,

[redacted]

We apologize if Mr. [redacted] has been inconvenienced.  If he was contacted by OnceDriven, he was contacted by a non-profit organization.  Non-profit organizations are exempt from being required to subscribe to the National DNC [redacted].  With that said, as previously mentioned, his request not to be contacted is being respected.   Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond. Sincerely,[redacted] Quality Assurance Meeting

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] needs to send in the recorded conversation of there selling tactics that lead you to believe your car has people INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR VEHICLE not just having 500 plus people look at your marketing material!! I don't care if he sent the recording in of me stating that I had 45 to get a refund or not!  The only reason I signed up with this company as it was stated by representative they had BUYERS interested in my vehicle already NOT LOOKY LOOS!!  That is there fraud sales tactic to get you wrapped into signing up with them.  I also tried to cancel this in the 45 days but [redacted] kept telling ME TO GIVE IT MORE TIME, CHANGE THE PRICE ITS TOO MUCH etc! Pull those phone records.  I can send the records of EVERFY SINGLE time I called this company to complain about no movement of the car AND  I HAD THE RIGHT TO CANCEL [redacted] drug it out making sure I got past the 45 days they so want to try and stand BY!!  I have sent email records already proving my complaint issues.
TITLE 48 MONOPOLIES AND TRADE PRACTICESCHAPTER 6 CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT48-603.  Unfair methods and practices. (11) Making false or misleading statements of fact concerning the reasons for, existence of, or amounts of price reductions; also to make note, I didn't need to threaten to call my credit card company its a fact I will do so if necessary.  I am making it very clear to this company how they are in the wrong!  This account needs to be refunded asap.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.the online refund procedure requires a number of unnecessary steps in order to remain eligible for a refund, I followed every single step, EXACTLY as requested and did everything as I was asked to do. This included the proof of sale. the vehicle was sold on [redacted] back in February and shipped to a gentleman named [redacted] who lives in [redacted]. At that time I sent over the [redacted] item number, the [redacted] submitted deposit information and the several other supporting documents that I was able to screenshot and submit.     That was nearly 6 months and now and unfortunalty [redacted] doesn't preserve data from sales made that long ago. The bottom line is, I payed for your lousy service. then I sold my vehicle without any help from you or your staff. they never even called me a single time with a lead or an interested buyer. NOW I deserve a refund. whatever you need to do to verify the sale. YOU NEED TO DO! is your business doing that bad that you want to rob innocent people of their hard earned money? its bad enough I have to pay for a processing fee... you people did absolutely NOTHING to help me get that car sold.Regards,[redacted]

They're slimy solicitors.
I posted my car for sale on Craigslist and they contacted me to ask me to sell my car through them instead
