Longwood Industries, Inc a/d/b/a OnceDriven.com Reviews (714)

Review: [redacted] from OnceDriven.com has made multiple harassing calls to me. I placed a "for sale" ad on craigslist to sell a car; this business farmed my telephone number from the site and has called persistently and harassingly in an attempt to get me to pay fee's to sell my car through them. The collection and use of my phone number taken from craigslist's site is in direct violation of their terms of service and is also an unethical business practice.Desired Settlement: I want my phone number and information removed from OnceDriven's database and an apology for their unethical business practices.

Regards,

Review: I listed a vehicle for sale on [redacted]. I specifically check the box that read "Do not contact me with other services". This company had a salesperson named [redacted] call me 2 times trying to solicit me buy using their company to sell my car. When they call, the cell phone does not ring. Somehow it goes straight to my voicemail. This happened both times. I have called them twice and left a message asking not to be contacted anymore.Desired Settlement: I want this shady business to stop soliciting folks they hunt for on [redacted]. Especially if we ask NOT to be contacted by others.

Regards,

Much like the rest of the these people I too placed an ad on Craigslist ad on Craigslist and I've gotten phone calls constantly!!!! I've also checked the box for NO solicitation. I DON'T understand why they can keep harassing people! I've actually had to block them!!very frustrating!

been calling me every single day since I have posted my dad's car for sale.

if I wanted to be contacted by third party callers, I would have not checked that box on CL!

they are annoying

Review: Like so many others, Once I listed my car for sale on [redacted], I immediately began receiving calls from these people wanting me to purchase their service to sell my car. This is a clear and obvious violation of CL privacy policies. All of my ads clearly state NOT TO CONTACT ME WITH SOLICITATIONS and this is exactly what they are doingDesired Settlement: I want more than just to not be called!! On behalf of ALL AMERICANS that are sick and tired of shady "businesses" repeatedly & relentlessly committing fraud against people on a daily basis. These people should have the doors of their business CLOSED FOR THEM! They should be HEAVILY fined and restricted from participating in any similar business practices! They advertise that they produce vastly increased coverage for the sale of your car, BUT THEY DON'T! They are only trying to collect the $180 fee over & over. Revdex.com needs to issue a cease and desist order for these false advertising claims and for the violation of privacy policies!!!

Mr. [redacted] phone number listed in his complaint message was added to the Once Driven Do-Not-Call Database at 10:35 A.M. EST today 6/9/2016, and will not be contacted again. Review: Received a soliciting call from "[redacted]" from Once Driven at an unknown number (Caller ID unknown) indicating that they wanted to sell my vehicle for me and that they had contacted me as a result of having searched for my Ford for sale from [redacted]. This Ad I had created to sell my vehicle expressed declined any offers or services regarding my vehicle sale.

I called the number back on my VM to discuss the issue of being called after having expressly indicating the opposite. The young woman who answered indicated that it wasn't through [redacted] that my information was found and that they were in-fact accredited by the Revdex.com in addition to another on-line accreditation for their marketing business.Desired Settlement: This "Business" is claiming services for a fee, using methods that are unethical to gather potential customers data and contact info and then mis-representing the quality of their processes by granting themselves a Revdex.com creditation.

Review: They constantly call my number which is on the do not call registry to try and get me to pay them to sell something (a travel trailer) that I have listed on [redacted]. They call multiple times a day and the unsubscribe option does not work. I never subscribed to their service, never asked to be contacted by them. Every person on the phone seems incompetent.Desired Settlement: Get them to stop calling people who simply put an ad on [redacted] trying to sell something. If people wanted help selling their things, they would do research and contact the company directly. Harassment.

Review: This company has been calling me from a restricted number that wont let you answer so it leaves a voice mail recording about contacting them to use their services. I am on the national do not call list since 2011 and do not want to keep receiving these calls. It's harassment. This company is known for scams and should not be able to harass people constantly.Desired Settlement: Never hear from the business scam again.

Regards,

Review: I was contacted by a OnceDriven representative who explained they had buyers interested in buying my style of vehicle and willing to pay the price I was asking. She told me the fee was guaranteed and that if they did not sell my vehicle within 45 days or I sold the vehicle through another means they would refund the fee. I paid for services on March 7, 2016. I sold the vehicle through [redacted] on May 6, 2016. Several times I reduced the asking price on the website. I received zero notifications of potential buyers through OnceDriven. Even though the price was listed higher on [redacted] I continued to have multiple potential buyers contact me each week. Once the vehicle sold I contacted OnceDriven for a refund of the fee but was told the written terms on the website say I must sell the vehicle within 45 days. That was not what I agreed to at the time I paid for services. This business refuses to refund the fee which was promised in the verbal terms I agreed to at the time I paid for services.Desired Settlement: The business has the responsibility to uphold the terms which were agreed upon over the phone at the time I paid for services. They provided no leads for potential buyers and I was told I would receive a refund if they did not sell the vehicle for me within 45 days.

Business

Response:

On 5/6/2016 Mr. [redacted] alerted Once Driven that he had sold his vehicle to a buyer not delivered by Once Driven. In a good faith effort, Once Driven will honor Mr. [redacted]'s request for a refund if he can provde proof of sale for his vehicle that was listed with Once Driven. Since Once Driven's refund guarantee is based on the sale of our customer's refund eligibility, this seems to be a fair compromise to Mr. [redacted]'s otherwise invalid refund request. Once proof of the sale has been validated, Once Driven will happily honor a full refund of $189. Sincerely, [redacted] Quality Assurance Manager

Review: Posted an ad on [redacted] to sell a vehicle. Received an unsolicited call from Once Driven to contact them because they had buyers interested in my vehicle. I am on the Federal Do Not Call list and checked the box "Do Not contact with other offers" in my [redacted] ad.Desired Settlement: They should not be allowed to solicit consumers who have marked the Do Not contact box on their [redacted] ad.

Review: I could really choose any of the above on the 'Primary Nature of your Complaint'

The business is a total scam. They called me telling me that they had people interested in purchasing my vehicle that was for sale because they noticed on [redacted] that it had been for sale. They tell you that if you pay for the service then they have people waiting that are ready to purchase your vehicle. They also tell you that they will give your money back if you sale the vehicle first. Total Scam.

I never had anyone contact me about purchasing my vehicle that was sent to me by Once Driven. Total Scam.

Once I sold my vehicle I gave Once Driven my VIN number from the vehicle so that I could get my money back. They called me and told me that the VIN number was incorrect and they could not process the refund. Total Scam.

I've called them numerous times and cannot get a hold of an actual person. I've left messages and no one has returned my calls. Total Scam.

I finally got in touch with someone today and they told me that they now have the correct VIN number. How did they amazingly find it? I have no clue. And that I should see the refund in a few days. I don't buy it. Total Scam.

This is not a legit business and they are stealing peoples money. Total Scam. How do people live with themselves when this is their job?!Desired Settlement: All of the above on the 'Desired Resolution'

I would like to hear from this business and actually speak with someone in charge or in management.

I would like my refund that I was promised.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] let Once Driven know that his F-150 was sold on 7/10/2016 at 9:40 P.M. EST. After reviewing his refund request, it was determined that the VIN that Mr. [redacted] provided Once Driven was not valid, therefore, making his refund request invalid. On 7/22/2016 at 11:16 A.M. EST Mr. [redacted] spoke with his Account Manager ([redacted]) and his correct VIN was updated to the refund request. At that time no title transfer information had occurred. As of today (7/26/2016 at 7:13 P.M. EST) the last title transfer information provided by the DMV shows a title transfer date of 6/12/2015 (See Below). Once Mr. [redacted] is able to provide proof that his truck has been sold, Once Driven will happily refund his account per the Once Driven 45-Day Guarantee that he agreed to before purchasing his listing with Once Driven. For Mr. [redacted]'s convenience, I have provided a link to the Once Driven 45-Day Guarantee Below are the historical events for this vehicle listed in chronological order. Any discrepancies will be in bold text. Report Run Date:July 26, 2016 18:15:3 EDTVehicle:1993 Ford F150 Special Edition / XL / XLT ([redacted]) Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. All of this makes sense. I wish it were this simple throughout the entire process. I felt like I was given the run around and lied to. I still don't believe what is said by the response message from Once Driven but I will await the title transfer and see if it works out and I get my refund. In the meantime I will be contacting the buyer of the truck and the local county clerk office to check on the transfer of the title on my end.

Regards,

Review: I was promised that my car would be sold within 45 days...I put my truck on [redacted] and they called me...I was very busy at the time trying to help my parents out. I thought this would be great...they did call me at first a couple times and I wasn't able to get back with them, but I did a couple weeks later and left messages each time I called. I wanted to add some photos I had taken. Now it's been about 38 days and I decided to take it off the list and try again later to sell my vehicle. I called to let them know about my decision under the impression if my truck didn't sell...I would get my money back...they haven't done 1 thing to help me and now I'm out $200.00. When I called them to tell them I had decided to not sell my truck at this time they told me that I would only get a refund if I sold the truck without there help. The reason I cannot sell my truck at the moment is that I went to get a smog for the renewal for my registration and it passed smog, but has a K&N Dry air intake system that is now street illegal in **. So now I have to come up with at least 500.00 to replace my whole air intake system and then re-smogged again...so I have to take care of this before I even can sell the truckDesired Settlement: As they promised, doesn't make sense since they did nothing even to call me back or give me sny advice, very dissatisfied and very deceiving business

Regards,

[redacted] I understand most people know how to upload pictures, but I didn't know how to start this process and that is why I did call back within a 2 week period. The first time I gave a message with someone to give to [redacted]...then I called back within 3 days and left a message with [redacted]. I asked if someone could call me back. I feel this amount of money would be a good investment for my purposes, because of needing help with uploading photos. I am discouraged with these types of services, as I do feel taken advantage of...thank you for your response, [redacted]

Business

Response:

Ms. [redacted] was called by Once Driven on 2 separate occasions to remind her to send photos in to help effectively market her vehicle on 5/18/2016 & 5/19/2016. Ms. [redacted] was then called on 5/24/2016 to let her know that we had still not received her photos, and to call us back for assistance. On 6/27/2016 Ms. [redacted] called Once Driven stating that she no longer wanted to market her vehicle. At that time, it was explained, that Ms. [redacted] was not eligible for a refund due to never sending Once Driven any photos. As a good faith gesture, Once Driven will offer Ms. [redacted] a 50% refund ($95) due to her challenges in getting photos to Once Driven.Once Ms. [redacted] responds to this proposed resolution, Once Driven will respond accordingly.Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manger

Review: Despite the fact that my [redacted] ad for selling a vehicle explicitly stated that I should not be contacted for unsolicited offers, this business contacted me to list my vehicle with their service. Review: I posted an ad on Craigslist to sell my car with the notice "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers" posted on the bottom. I received a call from an unknown number which I did not answer. [redacted] left me a message with the phone number [redacted] for me to call him back at (I still have the voicemail) and stating that he had someone interested in buying my car, but that there was a fee attached to it. I called the number back and spoke with [redacted]. She also told me that they match people with cars, I informed her that she was not supposed to contact me, as per my stipulation on craigslist. She hung up the phone on me.Desired Settlement: It is illegal for businesses to contact people via craigslist. This is scamming/spamming!

Regards,[redacted]

Once Driven utilizes a highly deceptive marketing scheme. They promise a money back guarantee and promise that this helps motivate them to sell your car. Then they conveniently encourage you to keep trying to sell your car on your own. In the next sentence, they tell you that if you sell your car you will be eligible to receive your money back! Sounds too good to be true? It is. The only sentence that means something is the last one. If you sell you car within 45 days they propose to refund the $189.00 minus a $29.00 processing fee once they verify that you indeed did sell your car. Just how they do that is a mystery. In reality, they keep your money if they fail to sell your car. They are motivated to do absolutely nothing and hope you do not sell your car. If you do sell it, then they go through the "verification" process. meanwhile you are out the $189.00 in any outcome! Not sure how they sleep at night. Not sure why they are even allowed to be in business!

Review: Similar to all other complaints against this business, shortly after posting my car for sale on craigslist, receiving repeated, continuous calls from 'once driven' offering their services, despite selecting "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers" in my post

I recently posted a Craigslist ad for my truck for sale and noted on the page that I did not wish to be contacted by anyone other than prospective buyers. Which they promptly ignored and called and left a message.
