Revdex.com, April 18,This vehicle was sold on 11/17/15, and the title was transferred into the customer’s name on 11/25/In regards to the matter for this customer, we have gone above and beyond in regards to the situation that he had with his vehicle that he purchased from usHe was given a month/5,mile warranty, in which we paid for, and was also given the opportunity to take the vehicle to whatever mechanic of his personal choosing for a “buyers check” He chose not to take it to have it looked at and he was able to test drive the vehicle before purchasing itAfter test driving the vehicle he said everything was fine and that he did like the vehicle, in which his fiancé was present and did witness the conversation. At that time we told him we would add a month warranty on the vehicle at no additional cost to him in order to protect his investment and our reputationHe said that would be great so the warranty was added again at no cost to himAfter he took delivery of the vehicle he called our General Manager on his cell phone, which he should have called our office, and stated he had an issue with his vehicleOur Manger instructed him to contact the warranty company and have them direct him to the next step that needed to be done The customer chose to go against the advice and took it to a personal friend/mechanic that specializes in building racing engines, then after that he took it to the dealershipHe then contacted our GM again to tell him that the dealership was stating that the PCM (car computer) was bad and needed to be replacedAt a performance shop, which it was taken to, the PCM can be reprogrammed to increase the horse power and that can ruin/damage the PCMWe do not know if that was done or not, but that could explain the issue of the bad PCMThen he called and we were told the timing chain was badThen he called again and we were told that the engine was badThe warranty company has accepted to pay the repair work, however, we feel that as things were asked for and the warranty kept paying they went on ahead and asked for a whole new engine, that the vehicle did not needThe vehicle was checked by the auction upon purchasing and we were given a day guarantee and told that there was some paint/body work done to the vehicle, which was passed on to the customer after his test drive was completedThe vehicle ran great and had no issues what so everDuring this time he did try calling our GM who was out dealing with health issues and a cancer scare that he was unable to answer his phone every single time the customer called himThe customer became outraged and him and his sister came to our dealership and got very confrontational and began to make threats of contacting the Revdex.com and the local mediaThis was all because the warranty company began to question the issues of the vehicleIt seemed that everyday there was something new and more expensiveWe have used this warranty company for over a decade and our GM called them and talked with them in regards to paying the cost of having the engine changed in order to keep our customer happy and protect our reputationOur GM called him several days later and asked how things were going and to make sure the warranty company took care of everythingThe customer stated everything was goodWe assumed everything was fine and had not heard from him anymore until now that we were contacted by the Revdex.comWe called the warranty company and asked why the situation was not taken care off and they said the work was approved and a check has been cut for the repair work, however the check has gone unclaimedWe have done all that we could and been in business for more than a decade with a reputable reputation Attached we have included what the warranty company has agreed to pay to repair his vehicle.Regards,
