I made a complaint for Longwood Well Drilling in Farmville, Va and wasn't sure how to respond back to the businessThe email I received had the ID# ***It took the company until Nov to come out which was longer than they had saidApparently they couldn't re-drill the well because the "plates shifted" and they didn't have a drill that would workThey tried hydrofracturing which didn't work so we need a new well drilled insteadAfter having the health inspector out he said it looked like they didn't even try to re-drill and instead of lining the well in grouting they just poured cement half way downHe also noted that Longwood has had their license terminated after looking at the *** site and recommended someone else who we will be doing business with instead

It is ridiculous to think such an established company whom has already received three thousand dollars of my money, would need more money to complete the installation of a wellI assure you, the deposit was more than enough to properly complete the job Additionally, the contractor did not incur more than two hundred dollars (fuel cost & a stick of six inch PVC tubing) while digging the well.
Secondly, if the contractor had any good intentions of completing the job, he should have returned the very next day and would have been paid as indicated by me Furthermore, lets stop going back & forth with “he say, she say”. Lets review the signed contract and see who is at fault here
Moreover, the weather is not a factor here, Longwood (Longwood well drilling) never called to discuss anything with me, (prior to me contacting Revdex.com) including scheduling and or payment. The clear fact is, Longwood abandoned the job because they could not extract any further payments without completing job

Review: They were hired December 11 ,2015 to install a new well. They dug the well tearing up my yard and cracking the foundation and porch. They would not return to hook up the well. Now the county health department has failed the well due to improper grouting. The well company told me 3 different depths they dug to. We think had they went deeper all would have worked out. Now the well has to be abandon per the county health department and there is more cost to this. We gave the well company half the money as they required. Now we have a $2,600.00 useless hole in the ground. I sent them pictures of my water trying to make them understand this needed to be finished. Three plus months later we no longer trust them. They NEVER return the calls nor do as they said they will. We want our money back and for them to pay for the cost to abandon the well.Desired Settlement: Refund plus the cost to abandon this hole in the ground, damages.

The business provide Revdex.com a copy of the new work order for this job. Since the business completed the first contract order per the terms of the contract a new order would need to be filed out to continue work done with this customer. Once that has been signed by the customer a date can be scheduled.

Regards,

Review: Approximately three weeks ago, I contracted Longwood Well drilling Co. to install a well at my property, I also made a deposit of three thousand dollars ($3,000) Longwood failed to start the work as promised and installed the well where I asked not to install it. Additionally, the owner of the company asked for additional money while digging the well after refusing to give additional funds until the work is completed, the owner packed up his equipment and left the property.

It has been three weeks and I HAVE NO WATER!Desired Settlement: refund the deposit
