I am rejecting this response because:The details and alleged facts of the response are completely  fabricated and incorrect. My husband and I never test drove the vehicle. In fact, my husband never even met the salesman or the manager. I alone test drove the vehicle. I never told the dealership that I purchased a new battery for the vehicle. I told the dealer that the battery was completely dead and was taken to Auto Zone, charged, tested, and was found to be in good working order which led us to believe that something more serious was wrong with the vehicle such as the alternator or an electrical issue. Since the check-engine light was on from day one I was even more concerned. The dealer told me repeatedly that the  check engine light was probably something small like a gas cap, but it was never confirmed. The vehicle gas tank was full of gas the first and second time it failed to start. The final time it failed to start, my son had to recharge the battery again to get the lights to come on and although the tank only had about an 1/8 tank of gas in the vehicle, low fuel would not cause the battery to once again die.  I explained the events in detail to [redacted], the manager and [redacted] the salesman, but they still tried to insist that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Although initial contracts were signed, the sales price and contract details changed multiple times and a final contract was never presented or signed. I was never given copies of anything except a handwritten receipt for $1000 down payment. The deferred payment referred to in the response is the TT&L for the vehicle which I refused to pay since I decided not to purchase a vehicle with undisclosed mechanical issues that seemed the dealer was trying to avoid addressing or perhaps even covering up. As far as the mileage on the vehicle, that is irrelevant information since at the time of use I was in the process of purchasing. The dealer should not release the vehicle until purchase is final if additional mileage is a concern. It would have been advantageous for me to have researched this company prior to purchase because it appears that all reviews online show how dishonest they truly are. Even if I never receive my refund, this dealer should have legal action taken against them to prevent other people from falling victim to their deceptive trade practices.
