This complaint received from Ms [redacted] comes as a surpriseWe ordered all materials exactly as described in her contract and in her "bathroom spec sheet" as chosen by her for her new showerUpon installation, Ms [redacted] changed her mind regarding the "molded" shower seat stating that it was too small and was worried it wouldn't hold her weight (same molded shower seat shown in our brochure that she chose from)The only other option for a shower seat with the same or higher maxweight limit is a "free standing" type seatThis was explained to her along with pictures of the free standing seat with and without a backrestShe chose the seat w/o the backrest and work on her shower continuedThe new shower seat was ordered that day 1/18/and expected in 1/25/Her project was completed on schedule and she filled out a customer survey stating she was "very satisfied"The new free standing seat came in as scheduled and is scheduled to be installed today 1/25/At no time during her project or while scheduling the new seat install did Ms [redacted] state she has been dissatisfied

It is unfortunate that Ms [redacted] is unhappy with the amount she paid for her bathroom projectMs [redacted] states that she can purchase all components we used at [redacted] which is not the caseWe do purchase some materials such as 2x2x6" blocking, fasteners, cleaning products, etcfrom *** [redacted] on the way to jobs, however, the acrylic shower surround, corner caddies, tub cut thru, fixtures, specialty colored sealants, etcare all purchased from [redacted] with a warrantyWe have received our installation certificate from [redacted] in order to purchase and offer their productsWe carry contractors' license, workers' comp ins., liability ins., business licenses, etcto be a legally legitimate contractor that carries a warrantyWe cannot compete with bids from unlicensed handymen that purchase the cheapest materials they can find from [redacted] ***.Our workers install these products daily and are very efficient and good at what they doBecause of this, we were able to smoothly complete this project sooner than what was expected (this is not always the case as some projects take longer than expected).As Ms [redacted] stated, her mother [redacted] , nephew ***, and herself were all present and agreed upon our proposal to order and proceed with the projectSelig Construction takes great pride in offering exceptional products and serviceWe have offered a discount of $(the cost of the shower bench) as we were not able to install a wall mounted seat that could be safely used due to the style of the existing tubThat offer still stands, and we would be happy to add or relocate any grab bars if they have changed their mind on location

Thank you for your attention to my report regarding Selig Construction CorporationI stand by the information that I have provided.I have returned the shower bench to Home Depot for a credit of $I had to get a smaller style so the shower curtain could close; not interested in their offer of a $discount for the $shower bench.What I came up with was $1500, or 30% for materials and $3480, or 70% to cover license, workers comp insurance, business licenses, and of course paychecksI will not be doing any business with them any time soon or ever.Thank you, [redacted] ***

To whom it may concern Mr [redacted] purchased replacement windows from us 5/1/The manufacturer of his windows is no longer in business, however we have tracked down and purchased the parts necessary to repair his windowThe first parts purchased did not fit properly so new parts had to be tracked down and purchased and installedThe fact that we are not the manufacturer, the manufacturer is out of business, and that his windows are 14+ years old made it difficult to track down the parts neededThis was all done in good faith at the expense of Selig Constas the "lifetime warranty" referred to was from the manufacturerWe would be happy to schedule another service call to adjust the repair as needed to get his window to operate properly.The link to a website that Mr [redacted] provided is not accurateOur website is [redacted] Any advertisements we have on-line, through print, etcexpress warranties/offers from our current manufacturers.The "nominal trip charge" of $that Mr [redacted] refused to pay went into affect years after the date of installation as stated on the warranty offered in (See attachment)We have obviously spent far more than the $trip charge to cover the warranty of a manufacturer that is no longer in business, all in good faith to our customer

We have purchased all materials needed to replace the siding on the 2 walls in question. We have a certified [redacted] technician set to complete the work. He will be taking pictures throughout all phases of the work to document that everything is done exactly to [redacted]'s...

specifications. He will be available in approx. 2 weeks from now. The repair in question will take 1-1 1/2 days and will be completed by the end of January. We will contact Ms. [redacted] with an exact date as soon as we know from the technician that he is available. As stated, in approx. 2 weeks and completed by the end of this month.

We contacted Ms. [redacted] 1/26/17 regarding her complaint. We have agreed on a refund amount due to the misunderstanding. She agreed with the refund amount and said she is very happy with her new shower and the workmanship provided by Selig Const..

I am rejecting this response because: I am not in agreement with what was said. I wanted a built in shower seat  and that's what I paid COR. I did not want another transfer [redacted]ch, due to my heath issues. I am unable to be moving a transfer [redacted]ch in, out or around. I am accepting what the company Selig is responding back. Nothing was ever mentioned about the maximum weight of the built in [redacted]ch, during my first initial meeting with [redacted] from Selig. If this was mentioned during the first meeting, I would of never agreeded on the walk in shower project. I am upset because I paid in full for a built in seat in the shower. It dosen' t serve the purpose. I hope an adjustment in my full payment can be made, due to Selig not providing my expectations of a built in seat in the walk in shower.
