We had a driveway repaved in late July When it rained August 10, there were two large puddles one of which is right between the porch and the parked car We complained promptly and got no response until Nov when we were told that the hot top plant was closed for the season! We had made multiple calls and messages between August and November

This woman was sweet as sugar when she contacted meShe agreed to get paid 273.50 In payments however she is under investigation by the rvc police for defamation, harrassment, and threats to a customer of look twice that entailed flyers, calling er place of business and
threatening her and lying to me about itWhen I asked for her agreement in writing she said see you in court which she had said she didn't want to go through with but obviously changed her tune after the police contacted her

Review: I purchased a necklace and some other items from Look Twice in June 2013, either June * or **, which I paid for but has never been delivered to me. I have been to the store several times and have made many phone calls to them. The owner gives me a different excuse every time I speak to her about why she cannot deliver my necklace and now just doesn't return my calls.

When I purchased the necklace, the clasp on the necklace seemed like it would open and I was concerned that the necklace would fall off, so I asked the owner, who first name is [redacted], if she could have the clasp changed. She said yes. I paid her in full for the necklace and left it with her. About a week or two later, I received a call from Look Twice, stating that my necklace was ready and I could come pick it up on Sunday, June **. On June **, there was a street fair in on [redacted] and Look Twice had a table set up outside their store, with several people selling products from the store. The store itself was closed but [redacted] was inside. A child, who said that [redacted] was her mother, went inside to get her mother but came out and said that the store was closed and [redacted] would not come out and give me my necklace. They rudely told me to come back in a week. When I called again to pick up the necklace, I was told by the person who answered the phone, [redacted], that [redacted] was not in and that she did not know where the necklace was. I asked her to call [redacted] and then went to the store. Again, I was told that she did not know where the necklace was. I spoke to [redacted] on the phone who said that the necklace broke when they were changing the clasp and had to be restrung. She said that it was never ready and the person who called me to say it was ready to pick up was wrong. The owner said that she would call me when it was ready but did not call. I went into the shop and she told me she couldn't find the necklace because one of her display cases had broken. I kept calling her and finally, she said that she found the necklace. I asked her if my husband could pick it up. She said that she would prefer to mail it to me. She never sent it. I called her 3 weeks later and she said that she was busy because she was transiting the good in her store (for the new season) and needed to find the necklace and that she would call me by the end of the day. She never called me back. That was three weeks ago. I have been to the store several times when someone was there but was unable to pick up my necklace. I have been to the store many times when it is not open even though their sign says that they should be open. I have left many, many messages on their voicemail, none of which are returned to me.Desired Settlement: I need to have my money refunded to me.

Response:

Her money was refunded earlier today.

We were closed last month in observance of our holidays.

Review: I left my expensive pocketbooks at this consignment store to be sold for money. The store is now empty and closed! I have a signed card from the owner, with information on it. I want my pocketbooks back or the money of what their worth.

This woman was sweet as sugar when she contacted me. She agreed to get paid 273.50 In 50 payments however she is under investigation by the rvc police for defamation, harrassment, and threats to a customer of look twice that entailed flyers, calling er place of business and threatening her and lying to me about it. When I asked for her agreement in writing she said see you in court which she had said she didn't want to go through with but obviously changed her tune after the police contacted her.

Business

Response:

Interestingly she left the said item well over a year ago and should have. Rightfully been forfeited and had plenty of time and ways to contact the store. The store closing has nothing to do with the matter. The payment has been available to her despite the stores right to have forfeited her merchandise after the length of time. She mentioned she lost her job perhaps that's why she is desperate but surely doesn't explain her behavior that has now become a police matter.

Review: I brought in 46 items to this consignment shop. I was asked to leave my items while the owner Michelle looked through them to determine if she can sell them or not. I wrote down every single item that she had, along with the brand name and what it was, accompanied by pictures of the items...which the owner signed and dated on her own business cards. I have asked several times what the status of the items were, I kept getting excuses. So I decided to be safe rather then sorry and ask to pick up all my belongings to bring to another reliable consignment shop. I received even more excuses. I got everything from, I'm on vacation, I'm not working, I'm celebrating the holidays, my husband passed away, etc. She told me she can make payments to me...(which nothing of mine was ever sold to my knowledge). Then she told me she doesnt have checks when I asked if she could write me one, but she said she can get them. Then the calls and texts stopped being responded to. After finding out that the business closed, I continue to follow up with the owner as I have her cell #. I have IN WRITING, all of the above excuses, including her writing back to me wanting all 46 items that I dropped off back. She advised once she was evicted from the store, she had some of my items in storage, and some at her house. I told her anything at her house I would come pick up. Then it turned into nothing at her home and everything was in storage. She advised she found a new location to possibly open December [redacted] 2015. I decided to wait and give her time to adjust, unpack, and deal with everything else on her plate. She stopped responding to me. Her phone is still working as I have called her before and she answers. I have every text message and interaction with her in writing or documented so she cannot lie about this one. I have been nothing but nice in asking for my items back. From the looks of the other complains, defamation of character is something she likes to add to her responses. I have never threatened her, been rude, etc....however, I can say I have followed up with my messages on numerous occasions and advised I would take matters into my own hands by suing if I did not receive my items.

There is a total of 46 top designer items, including clothing, bags, scarves, etc. Majority being brand new with the tags still on.Desired Settlement: I would like every single item that I dropped off (46 items) in the excellent/ brand new condition that I gave them to her in, along with the tags....no stains, no damages...exactly how I dropped them off.

Review: This establishment is a consignment store . They sell your merchandise and are suppose to split the monies with their consigners . They get paid for the merchandise and wait months and months to pay the consigners. After they finally let you know your money is ready they refuse to mail your check and lie about when you can come in and pick it up. The owners response was " I have a family to feed"

I am waiting months and months for this small amount of money.

The store sells your clothing and keeps all of the money .Desired Settlement: I want the money that I am due for the store selling my merchandise.

Consumer

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Look Twice Resale Boutique regarding complaint ID [redacted]. The owner of the boutique informed me that she will not be paying any monies to me for items of mine that were sold.

She informed me of this right before I heard back with a complaint number from the Revdex.com. She is a thief and kept all monies for herself.

Sincerely,

Review: I delivered a Louis Viton Barrell Bag for consignment sale 4/**/15. Just enforce Memorial Day I was told by [redacted] the bag was sold but I had to wait to make sure the sale went through. Two weeks later I attempted to contact [redacted] with no success. Since then I have called the store numerous times either getting a voice mail or a recording saying the mail box was full. I also have texted and Emailed the store with no response. Visits to the store during posted store hours resulted in finding the doors locked and nobody thereDesired Settlement: Return of bag or payment of sales price less consignment fee.
