That type of action (had I done it) can have very significant legal ramifications for me if it were true (it's a crime)I will drop this complaint with no further legal action (I have a cause of action for slander) if the company replies in an e-mail with an apology and a promise to never contact me or anyone in my chain of command againI will reciprocate and not contact the company and will post no further reviews or complaints of themFor an apology, I will walk away from this claim, but I need something to show my command that the violence and window banging did not occurI've got the video that will show it, but I want the company to own up to the mistake Regards, [redacted] ***

When Mr*** *** requested a space to move in his item on June 15, 2017, he was told the terms and conditions of the contract at that timeMr*** agreed to the contract and decided to move his item on the lotWe are not a long term storage facility, and he was told that we are a month
to month contractHe moved his item in on June 26, with the understanding of the contract that he signed in agreementAll customers know and have been told signs of any changes or request will be posted at the office windowThe sign posting of rate increase was posted on October 1,He has not been on the lot since June when he first moved inWe do have security on the lot, but request that all customers routinely come in and check on their property, he did notHe would have seen the notice if he didIt is not the practice of "Lookout Boat and RV Storage" to mail or email costumers, and we do not mail invoicesAnd all know thisHe was charged $in December, for rate increase started in JanuaryHe was also told in December that the space he was parked in was going up to $per month, per space due to the connivance of the pull through, he was offered a back in space which was $a month, he did not replyWhen he came to the office window he was very verbally abusive, use profanity to myself, J*** ***, *** ***He continued to threaten to the point I had to ask him to leaveA check was mailed on February 7, for a refund of $50, which is more then fair due to the fact his item was on the lot and he moved out without a week written notice, with states in his contract, he must do so or will be charged for that monthHe also informed me he was giving us a week to receive his refund or he was filing a complaint, which he clearly did not give the time he allotted

MR.[redacted] I Apology to you for my actions, but I feel it is justified due to the fact you scared me and I WAS SCARED of YOUR actions. We ask that you do not return or call to said property, "Lookout Boat and RV Storage". Your check is in the mail and you should receive it in 2-3 days. Do not penalize me over postal service for I have no control over it. I felt my report was justified as you feel yours was. I did not say you were banging on the window, they ask and I clearly said you were NOT. Once again I am Sorry. As I hope you are. Wearing your Military uniform should carry more honor then you presented yourself. I Am Sorry. I Apology.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I am fine with the $50 refund, and when I receive it, I will close the complaint. However, I take serious issue with the business' actions in response to my complaint. 1. The facts are incorrect - I never received any communication that the rates were going up in December, and I was never offered the opportunity to go into a less expensive spot. The company admitted that they didn't communicate via email or mail (and even said "everybody knows this"), and they also incorrectly implied that I never came back and checked on my property. Well, if I never checked on my property and they don't send communications out, how did they make me the offer to move? That story is internally inconsistent. There was also never a written contract as is implied. 2. The company has crossed a significant line in retaliation for my complaint. Not only does the company allege that I was "verbally abusive" and "profane" in its response; the company had the audacity to call the Army's Public Affairs Office and report that I was "violent, banging on the windows, and causing the employee to FEAR FOR HER LIFE."  This is absolutely and completely untrue. I know Lookout Trailer and TV Storage has cameras, so please retain those videos. I also have a 1080p dash camera on my truck that captured the incident. This is easily provably false, and forms the legal basis for slander. I'm more concerned at this point that the company had the nerve to reach out to my place of business and attack me with false statements. What I want now to drop the complaint:1. I'll cash the check for $50 and accept it as resolution. 2. I want an apology from the business (a response in this system will suffice) for calling my Public Affairs Office and falsely indicating that I was "violent, banging on the windows, and causing the employee to FEAR FOR HER LIFE."  That type of action (had I done it) can have very significant legal ramifications for me if it were true (it's a crime). I will drop this complaint with no further legal action (I have a cause of action for slander) if the company replies in an e-mail with an apology and a promise to never contact me or anyone in my chain of command again. I will reciprocate and not contact the company and will post no further reviews or complaints of them. For an apology, I will walk away from this claim, but I need something to show my command that the violence and window banging did not occur. I've got the video that will show it, but I want the company to own up to the mistake.
