Lookout Boat Window Frames

Windows were not delivered when promised, company promises week after week a delivery date and does not come through. Recd quote for (4) window replacements with frame for $7200 on January 15th 2014. Windows were promised in 6-8 weeks, $5400 down $1800 at time of delivery. Mailed check XXXXX on Jan 19 cashed almost immediately. By Mid March we were told next week. This went on for several weeks. By April we were calling every day. Most of time we got no answer. When they did return the call...more empty promises. Emailed Lookout again on April 17 requesting pictures of completed windows. We have been told for several weeks at this point that they were finished. Lookout did not respond to this email. I called and spoke to owner [redacted] requesting pictures again and explained that we were picking them up. He said his wife would email them when he got home. We received the email 2 days later. At that time we called and spoke to the owner again and he stated he would be in [redacted] on May 1st and would leave them with a vendor so we did not have to go all the way to NC. April 30th can and owner said he was feeling bad about the service and wanted to make it up to us by bringing the windows to us. He stated it would be Friday May 9. We called him on Thursday May 8st to find out what time he would be here on the 9th and he said he has not even left yet but would be leaving on the 9th and would call us when he left. Today is May 9th. It is 3:30pm. We have called him 5x and left messages. All emails and phone conversations have been with the owner.Desired SettlementOur last message to him today was that we will not be excepting the windows after Monday May 12th 2014 at 8am. After that point we will be hiring someone else to do the windows and will not be dealing with Lookout Boat Windows anymore and would like the deposit of $5400 returned within 30 days.More info received from the consumer 2014-05-12After contacting the Revdex.com we sent another email to the business owner. He replied by phone call Friday evening and made arrangements to meet us at designated location to pick up the finished windows at 10:00am Monday morning May 12th. At this time, we will meet owner and see what they look like. The time now is 8:45am.2014-05-12 -5 - More info received from the consumer 2014-05-12We met with owner and he delivered windows on May 13th. Final product was as promised. Main complaint was time frame and constant broken promises regarded completion. Original quote was 6-8 weeks and actually was 12-14 and that was only after the threat of wanting refund and reporting to Revdex.com.
