I have used this cleaners twice and will Never use them again. Both times the attendant taking my dry cleaning could not tell me how much my clothes would cost to get dry cleaned. Yesterday (Friday), I dropped my clothes off and states I needed them back today (Saturday). She informed me there would be a 20% "rush" service fee but still could not tell me the actual cost. She said I would have to call when the manager was in the store to get the price. Today I arrive to pickup my clothes and find out I was charged a 50%"rush service" fee. When I asked about the fee and states I was told it was 20% for rush service the attendant simply responded, "Oh, sorry." There was no attempt to correct the pricing error (either I was given wrong information with the 20% fee that they should have honored or they over charged me period) on their behalf. I do not have any issue with paying for service but it is completely reasonable to (1) expect to know the cost of service at the time I am dropping off my items and (2) have correct pricing information given to me and (3) have to company honor the price --20% I was quoted. Very frustrated and disappointed with their business practice. I do NOT recommend this company.

Our policy is standard in the industry of dry cleaning, namely that customers are responsible for removing all personal effects from their garments before turning them in for...

cleaning. Even so, it is our internal policy that all garments are inspected for personal items, and any personal items are set aside and returned to the customer. However, that is an extra step that we provide as a courtesy; we do not accept responsibility items that customers believe they may have left in their pockets, as there is no way of verifying other than the customer's recollection.In this circumstance, the customer believed cash was inadvertently left in their items dropped off for cleaning. However we interviewed the staff and determined that their pockets had been checked and that no personal items had been found. The relevant staff have no record of theft of store or personal items, so we do not believe there is any further action that we can take.
We cannot accuse staff (who have no history of dishonesty) of directly lying about an issue based on a customer's belief that there was an item in a pocket when the staff claim to have checked the pockets and found nothing. Unfortunately, the customer's request that we review camera evidence, while compelling, does not capture the relevant work area. This is a matter that we intend to remedy as a process improvement measure.
We cannot accept responsibility for something that a customer believes was left in their pocket based on their stated recollection, when it is their responsibility to remove all personal items from their pockets before dropping them off for cleaning.
Nonetheless, we are in the customer service business, and we for such ambiguous situations, we have aprogram we call our 50%/2X customer bonus: 50% off dry cleaning, up to 2X their claim amount (in this case2X is $160).
