When I went to see my totaled car in Georgetown, and take out important things that were left inside, we were confronted by people who said the office was closed on Thursdays and we couldn't get our thingsAfter several calls with a very rude woman at Rubin's Wreckage (Rubin Enterprises) she told us we needed the title and $for the towWe thought this was extremely ridiculous considering I had AAA and the tow would have been free
We went Monday afternoon to pay the woman who then said we owed her $500, cash onlyWe would have left on the spot, but we had to pay her if we wanted the items in the carThe price was then reduced to $and then $299, which was the original costCash onlyShe knew she made a mistake the first time and corrected herselfI called the business sketchy and she did not like thatThey were beyond rude and the whole situation just didn't sit well with me
I know I will not get my money back, and although it hurts my heart to know someone would do this to a person who was just in a terrible car accident, I hope it never happens to anyone elseI noticed there was a complaint filed in January on this site and it was the exact situation as mineRidiculous charges for a tow that was down the streetThis price gauging needs to be addressed in Georgetown County
Please be aware of this "business" and if you can choose another tow company, do so!

We advised the customer via email on 3-7-16 that his transaction was refunded. In addition, we called him on 4-27-16 in response to the Revdex.com complaint to re-advise that it was canceled and refunded.
