Review: Purchased a motor from the salvage yard to replace in a customers vehicle. After 500 miles it has severe low oil pressure and has a bearing knock inside the motor. When I contacted the salvage yard to make them aware of the situation, they refused to do anything because of the type of vehicle the motor belonged to and the assumed driving conditions.Desired Settlement: I would like the motor warrantied due to major component failure.

Mr. [redacted] did call us about this motor and told us it had 700 miles on it ( which now has changed to 500) we told him get the motor pulled out and take off the oil pan and so we can see what is wrong with it. However, he refused to work with us and wanted us to buy him a new motor. It should be noted this was a used motor he received from us. We have heard nothing more from him, til your letter was received yesterday. He is apparently refusing to work with us. We have tried to help but he just keeps insisting we need to buy him a brand new motor.
