We apologize for the inconvenience that we have caused you.  After researching your service ticket, we do see where it said to give you 10% off but our service tech collected your payment of a check in full for the tune up and lubrication the he provided.  We can either refund you $12.00...

or offer you $25 towards the purchase of a new garage door opener.  We will have Bridget call you with more information on Monday and you can decide which is best for you.

Thank you for the response. Hamburg Overhead Door offered the following deductions & promotions to equal a total of -$500.00 off the original invoice amount. ·         -10% discount on the purchase of a new door (=$225.00) ·         A complimentary keypad (=$65.00) ·         A -$100. Discount for purchasing an electric operator with door (-$100.00) ·         Additional discount for grievances (-$110.00.) Our customer had requested -$500.00 for inconveniences.  Hamburg Overhead Door was happy to provide this and had explained that the total value of discounts was equal to the $500.00, as requested. When this was discussed on the phone on 4.26.2016 we thought all parties were in agreement of this as there was no discussion about the amount with us.  It is now being brought up here with the Revdex.com.  We would have preferred to have rectified it over the phone in that moment if there was an issue. Originally, Hamburg Overhead Door had installed a mistaken door & electric operator at the home of our customer. We had left the setup throughout a two week period until we could return with the correct garage door and garage door opener so that they were not left without one.  During this period, we had ordered the originally requested door. Finally, we were able to install the appropriate door & electric operator after it arrived.   Thus, rectifying the situation, all while leaving the clients with a fully functioning set up.   Hamburg Overhead Door thanks the customer for the inquiry.  We are happy to adjust the total amount and offer an additional $390 (to the already $500).  This will now equal a total of $890 off the total bill.  We hope that the monetary compensation will bring an end to the customer’s aggravation.
