The customer service rep that she first dealt with is no longer with us.The re-touching that she wanted done was not something that we offer.  Once the re-touching was done, it was mailed to her [redacted] on Sept. 24th.  If you need any additional information please contact me....

I am absolutely disgusted with Lors Studio. Had freshman pictures taken for my son and never received pictures. I called where they stated that the pictures were never sent to the processing department and that it will take another 4-6 weeks before I receive his school pictures. I expressed my concerns and that I haven't even seen the pictures to see how they turned out. I was told that they could send me a "screenshot" of the picture so that if I didn't like it I could go to makeups to get it re-done. Well, that helps considering makeups were today. And btw, I never received the screenshot photo.
Considering the price that they charge to even get pictures done you would think that they would put a rush order on the photos since it was there error to begin with or at least give me a discount on the price I have paid.
I've given a lot of business to Lors and even had a family portrait done there years ago, so you would think that they would work with there customers better. I for one am done giving them my business!

I only need an 8x10 picture of my boys every year. We do not have any extended family, and the cheapest package that Lors offers with an 8x10 picture in it cost $37.00. I can not afford to spend $37 on a bunch of pictures I don't need, just to be able to get the new school 8x10 pictures I put in their frames every year. I always send in a check for the price of the 8x10 picture they sell as an "add on" and write on the envelope that I only want the 8x10 picture. This year they are mailing the pictures home to the parents, so there is a $5.00 shipping and handling fee. I didn't notice this on the form, so I just sent a check for the price of the picture. They sent my form and check home with a note saying I didn't pay the shipping fee, so they weren't sending my sons picture, but if I send it in again with the $5.00 shipping fee, they would send me the picture. Why they couldn't just call me and let me pay the shipping fee, like most reputable businesses would, I don't know, but I called there customer service to see if I could pay for everything with a credit card on the phone. I was told I was speaking to a supervisor, at first he was very nice and said absolute the ly I could pay over the phone, until he asked me what "package" I wanted, and I told him I just wanted an 8x10. He then proceeded to tell me I couldn't just order an 8x10, that an 8x10 was an add on to one of there "packages." I told him I didn't have any extended family and didn't need, nor could afford to buy a bunch of pictures, just to get an 8x10, and I had ordered only an 8x10 every year for the past five years. He said I couldn't pay for that over the phone, but I could try sending in my payment with a letter explaining why I only wanted to purchase an 8x10 and maybe they would do it. WHAT! Are you kidding me? I can't get a 8x10 school picture of my son without giving Lors a reason. Well... I'm sending in my payment and order form for my 8x10, I'm a little bit weary after reading the other reviews and complaints on Lors, I'll continue this review after I get my picture. Hopefully I can write a better review after that. May I add that my other son goes to the same school but it is a Boces Satellite program in the school and they use different photo studios, and I think I have dealt with 3 different ones, and they were all wonderful and very gracious, and never made me explain why I only wanted an 8x10 picture.

Review: I ordered pictures from Lors Studio through my child's High School on September 29, 2014. Enclosed with the order form was a check made out to them for $40.00, the exact cost of the picture package. My check was cashed on October 2, 2014 by Lors Studio. I waited to receive my pictures. After learning from my child that all of her classmates had received their photo packages, I called Lors Studio customer service on November 18, 2014. I verified that my mailing address was correct, and I was told that I would be receiving my pictures in approximately 3 weeks. After I did not receive my pictures within the 3 week waiting period, I called the Lors Studio customer service line on approximately December 9, 2014. I was informed that I would receive my pictures within 3-4 weeks from November 21, 2014, not 3 weeks from November 18th, as I was told previously by customer service. I called Lors Studio customer service on December 19, 2014. At this point, I was highly upset because the Holiday Season was just a few days away. The customer service representative assured me that I should have received my pictures by now. When I demanded a refund, the supervisor accused me of never submitting payment for the pictures. She stated that that's the reason why I haven't received my pictures. However, she promised to send them out "rush delivery" in time for the Holidays. I questioned how they would send me my pictures “rush delivery” after accusing me of not paying. To which she had no response. I called Lors Studio customer service on December 22, 2014, and asked them if they need me to send proof of payment, in order to expedite the delivery of my pictures. They stated that proof of payment wasn’t necessary. As of December 26, 2014, I still do not have my child’s pictures. They blamed the postal service of losing the pictures, but won't provide me with a tracking number. I don't believe they ever sent my pictures, and that they're just a scam! Do I have to go get them myself?Desired Settlement: I just want my child's pictures!!!
