Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The “proof” claimed by the Door Collection is not a real proof of the product we have a dispute onThe doors that we purchased are not laminated doors as stated in Door Collection statementPlease see the attached pictureThe material of these doors is MDF (pressed cardboard)MDF and laminate are two different thingsThe link that Door Collection refers to [redacted] is nothing but the Russian site of the doors manufacturerThere is general information of the available doors they manufacture and saleThere are no certificates there or any detailed description of what these doors are made ofEverything is written in RussianHowever, even on this web site it mentioned that the models we were sold are made of high quality wood and water resistant gluePlease note that I never mentioned purchasing solid wood as stated by Door CollectionIn my previous claim and in this one I talk about high quality wood, not solid woodAnd on that web page it does not say anything that these models are made of laminate as stated by Door CollectionThere is few times where Door Collection provided information in their respond to Revdex.comThey mentioned that we were shown a catalog with the details on what material was used No one even mentioned a catalog at the time of purchaseWe dealt with the sales person, and the owner was not on premisesThe next statement is that our contractor did not know how to install the doors, damaged them at the installation, and then called the storeOur contractor never contacted the store! One door was installed already by the time we came from workThe contractor just mentioned to us that the doors are pretty bed quality, and that we should anticipate problems when they are in useEspecially the one in the bathroom as it will be in contact with hot vaporsNot to mention that this particular door was already damagedThe contractor picked up the doors at warehouse where they were packed and wrappedThe damage was not found until the doors were unwrapped at homeThe contractor mentioned to us the damage and postponed installation until we came homeMy husband contacted the owner of Door Collection about the damage right awayHowever, not only he never mentioned year warranty to us, but he was also very quick at jumping to conclusion that the door was damaged by contractor during installationI have a picture of the door with damage before it was installedAnother dishonest statement is that we were provided with copies of certificates for the doorsThe only thing we got was the same Russian web site with general infoIn conclusion I would like to demand official certificates for the doors in English with detailed information on the materials used for the doors and frames including the glueI am still convinced that Door Collection deliberately misrepresents their products In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

The doors that we purchased are not laminated doors as stated in Door Collection statement. Please see the attached picture. The material of these doors is MDF (pressed cardboard). MDF and laminate are two different things. The link that Door Collection refers to [redacted] is nothing but the Russian site of the doors manufacturer. There is general information of the available doors they manufacture and sale. There are no certificates there or any detailed description of what these doors are made of. Everything is written in Russian. However, even on this web site it mentioned that the models we were sold are made of high quality wood and water resistant glue. Please note that I never mentioned purchasing solid wood as stated by Door Collection. In my previous claim and in this one I talk about high quality wood, not solid wood. And on that web page it does not say anything that these models are made of laminate as stated by Door Collection. There is few times where Door Collection provided false information in their respond to Revdex.com. They mentioned that we were shown a catalog with the details on what material was used.  No one even mentioned a catalog at the time of purchase. We dealt with the sales person, and the owner was not on premises. The next false statement is that our contractor did not know how to install the doors, damaged them at the installation, and then called the store. Our contractor never contacted the store! One door was installed already by the time we came from work. The contractor just mentioned to us that the doors are pretty bed quality, and that we should anticipate problems when they are in use. However, not only he never mentioned 2 year warranty to us, but he was also very quick at jumping to conclusion that the door was damaged by contractor during installation. I have a picture of the door with damage before it was installed. Another dishonest statement is that we were provided with copies of certificates for the doors. The only thing we got was the same Russian web site with general info. In conclusion I would like to demand official certificates for the doors in English with detailed information on the materials used for the doors and frames including the glue. I am still convinced that Door Collection deliberately misrepresents their products.
