I am rejecting this response because: The original complaint was against [redacted] for misleading information about the Lost Trail Lodge. The information on [redacted]s site about the Lost Trail Lodge indicated that the cabin we had reserved had a bathroom in the unit, this was not the case. I registered and thought I was paying [redacted] for the reservation but it was charged from lost trail lodge directly. When I filed a complaint through [redacted] they only recognize the billing party which is Lost Trail Lodge in this case. They will not refer back to misinformation from [redacted]'s site as my original claim was against. [redacted] refused to accept responsibility for the misinformation. [redacted] was very unhelpful to resolving this as well which brings me to filing a complaint through the Revdex.com.
The Lost Trail Lodge is a accident waiting to happen. I tripped many times and could not see where I was walking. There is exposed electrical extension cords all over the ground. There are no walk ways or lights outside. I suffer from a very serious condition and need to have access to a bathroom at all times. If I can't be reimbursed for the amount of 1800 dollars I will pursue a small claims case against Lost Trail Lodge for an amount of no less than 5,000 dollars. The increase in the amount due to the stress involved with this whole situation which in turn causes me a great deal of pain and suffering. Lost Trail Lodge is has been extremely unhelpful.
I am rejecting this response because: Yes the complaint was against the misinformation provided by [redacted] was contacted immediately and so was [redacted] to resolve the issue, as noted in forms submitted. [redacted] said it was not their responsibility because Lost trail billed me directly, which I was unaware of until seeing the room. At no point did I confirm the lack of facilities. The only contact was to confirm we were arriving late. It was my gf who called not myself. So at this point Lost trail is manipulating the truth. The reason [redacted] rejected the claim was because it was billed from lost trail and not [redacted], they only assume information off lost trails site and not [redacted]s, as stated before [redacted] has removed lost trails lodge from their site. This caused an issue with confirming the issues addressed with attached files. I also expected [redacted] to be more helpful with providing a solution but they said there was nothing they could do, lost tails was also contacted through [redacted] and they said there was no available options and refunds are unavailable. So I had to seek out proper accommodations and with short notice there was only the hyatt that had a single room left. There was no cell service or representative available on arrival or the next day, after tripping over extension cords and overgrown brush to use a bath room more more then 200ft away, it was without soap or toilet paper. Lost Trail Lodge was also in multiple violations of ADA requirements for accessible lodging and this was definitely never mentions anything on the lost trails site. h[redacted] [redacted]
I will seek an attorney at this point as this is unnecessary stress and affects my health condition. I will not respond to any other responses from Lost trail.
