Full refund for $ was sent to customer on June Transaction ID # ########## immediately upon hearing about the complaint The original item ordered was replaced and additional merchandise was sent free of charge ( retail worth $70) via USPS priority mail tracking number is ##########

DETAILS:
Original order was shipped on 7/via USPS priority mail Tracking #######. The order was marked complete in our records
The package was mailed to the exact address given to us but was marked undeliverable by the post office due to incomplete information (missing apt#)
. The tracking shows that the package was eventually rerouted back to our office but it was in fact never received
As stated in complaint, I had been in communication with the customer and agreed to replace the item. I arranged to have the order shipped directly from the vendor but failed to follow up
The customer attempted to contact me through email and the communication was never received on my end due to extenuating circumstances
At the time of
this incident we were in a major transition and in the process of
closing down our brick and mortar shop, liquidating inventory and moving our office to a
home based online business.
Also, during those months we experienced a
very large increase in online orders for our custom business in a very short amount of time and we were
simply not staffed to handle the volume.
The increased demand was very overwhelming for our small business as most of our products are handmade to order. As a result some
mistakes were made and ***'s order was not handled correctly
The lack of communication and follow up on this issue are absolutely
unacceptable and not a reflection of our business practices.
We since have streamlined our product offerings
and have made many adjustments to our process so that we can better
service our customers and avoid situations like this.
Lottie Da Baby has hundreds of positive reviews and happy customers
since starting our business in As we continue to grow, our focus on a positive customer experience is of utmost importance
ACTION:
Customer has been refunded the full amount of purchase Total $54.20. (Original form of payment was through Paypal, but after attempts to refund account online were unsuccessful a check has been sent instead)
The original order has been reshipped by USPS mail tracking number ###########
Additionally, the customer has been compensated with a Lottie Da Baby boy gift basket (Value $100)
