Review: I was sold a vacuum by the kirby vacuum on 8/8/2013. The sales man came to my door offering to vacuum my house for free and he said it would be only 10 minutes. 2 hours later he sold me a vacuum cleaner he said the vacuum would only be 2600 and not to worry about the 3100 he wrote on our agreement after careful research I come to find out that the vacuum is not worth any near the price I had agreed to pay. When I called the company to try and resolve this issue the person I talked to gave me an attitude and told me I had to deal with it.Desired Settlement: I would like to have to be refunded or I would like to to pay a fare price

that. Now 14 months later there is nothing that we can do for him.

He only paid $2100.00 for the Kirby, plus sales tax. the rest was interest fur financing thru a

independent finance company for 36 months.

The Kirby is fully warranted, we will service and take care of any needs he will need in the use of

Review: A notice was received on my door regarding a fruit basket delivery that I missed. When I inquired I was then bait and switched to a solicitation sales for carpet cleaning, which I don't have. Forcefully an appointment was scheduled to explain their product. When they called me to confirm the next morning 8/9/13 at 9:30 am I told them to CANCEL, that I don't need their services. I was told that the guy was already on the way. Strange I stated, why if you scheduled it for 1:00, please cancel again I stated. I was then repeadtly harrased by phone calls to continue to solicit my business. Sure enough a gentleman shows up at my door ringing the doorbell while my phone is ringing reapetedly. I was on the phone speaking with a friend who requested that I not answer since we weren't sure of who it was, although we knew it was him because I rarely have guest at my home due to extremely heavy work schedule. After finally giving up and leaving I felt relieved that I didn't have to call the police, which I was inclinded to do. An hour later as my neighbor approaches the same guy stops her and begins to solict her the same services. I couldn't believe it as I'm listening through the door. He literraly had been waiting outside, CREEPY and SCARY.Desired Settlement: Corrected Advertising with proper identification. Stop the bait and switch tactics and victimization of potential customers. Stop contacting me immediately. The only way I have information to the company is because it showed up on my caller id.

There is no bait and switch. We give out 1 OO's of fruit baskets each month both at

individual homes, and at our office. With nothing for the person to do but accept the fruit baskel

And in addition (not switch) to the fruit basket we also offer to shampoo a couple rooms of

carpet or clean some furniture, or wax some floors. Which a lot of customer accept. We do bring

out their basket of fruit and just drop it off to them, if that is all they want. Sometimes they

would prefer to pick up at our office.

Where [redacted] lives there are lots of apartments, and condos and we had a lot of calls

in her area so yes the representative would have already left, we start at 10 am.

We make one call only per customer to remind them, or to let them know it we are a little

late or perhaps we can come a little early. But there would not be any reason to call more than

once. If a customer canceled we would never call back from the office, however the

representative called before we informed him of the cancellation because be did not have the

apartment number.

It is most likely since we had several calls in that area, that the representative was still in

the complex when the neighbor came by and he would have offered the same thing as was

offered to [redacted].

All our representative have passed background checks, have no record of any kind~ and

have ID badges.

We understand [redacted] concern, we are sorry for not getting thru to our

representative sooner, and Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I am referring to my original complaint: ID [redacted] and the response from the below company; I am perturbed that this was the response was given. I have the original slip(s) of advertisement for the alleged fruit basket which I want to submit to the Revdex.com (my neighbors and myself ) could care less about a frutibasket (I returned the call only because it was birthday and thought the message concerning a basket was sent by my family for my birthday). There is no name of this company, The slip states "For You a Beautiful Basket of Fruit Sorry We missed You and box to check off - Kindly phone" You may call for your fruit Monday thru Saturday. This slip has a picture of a bowed basket of fruit. It turns out....when I called it was a solicitation for cleaning carpet for which I said that I have wnood floors. This is what started the whole beginning ...I canceled because I did not like the idea of this type of business advertising one thing but for a different purpose then what was ad advertised and a stranger coming to my house. In other words, I canceled. The letter states "Where [redacted] Lives there are lots of apts, and condos....and we start at 10am. No sir, The representative called me at 9:30 am that morning (which is still in my caller id). She was rude and when I attempted to cancel she stated that they were already almost at my house. Also, I did not end up having to go in to work and heard saw a man park outside our apt building and ring doorbell ring and I did not recognize him so I did not answer. HE WENT BACK IN HIS VEHICLE AND SAT FOR AT LEAST 35MINS AND I WATCHED HIM AND TOLD A FRIEND I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH AT THE TIME WHAT I WAS SEEING!!! It was creepy and I knew it was the carpet company calling because [redacted] phone number showed up on my 2-way phone id again! Then I saw the man in the blue vehicle get out again and start ringing my door bell again after sometime. My neighbor came out at this time and my neighbor informed this man that I was not home! So he began to solicit her! I could hear everything that was being said to say the least. She did ask how much it would cost 3x's and he evaded the question each time (she also said this seemed sketchy also!). He just said he needed to come inside her home to see how dirty it was. She asked one more time "Just give me a rough estimate for this size room"....He never answered. He began to solicit her, and my other neighbors so it is highly unlikely that he had that much free time (if he had so many other calls in my neighborhood that day as claimed above). Literally, This man sat outside for AT LEAST AN HOUR OR SO! I GUESS THEN HE DECIDED TO GO DOOR TO DOOR TO ALL MY NEIGHBORS. I know this to be true because I WAS HOME AND HEARD HIM! Also, this man had my apartment number because he went straight to my apartment and rang the doorbell after I had long canceled. This man did not show any badge to my neighbors he ended up leaving big flyers with no name of the company on everybodies door. This long advertisement had NO WEBSITE ADDRESS, NO PHONE NUMBER NO NAME OF COMPANY ON IT EITHER. I have copies of all that this company left on my door and my neighbors or I can upload to Revdex.com. This was not a misunderstanding, I think this is what the business practices of this company is. My neighbors have said the same thing and interestingly had the same response as myself. STOP ADVERSTISING THIS WAY. BETTER COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR REPRESENTATIVES (SYSTEM TO CANCEL BETTER). DO NOT HAVE YOUR WORKERS SITTING OUTSIDE PEOPLES HOUSES AND SOLICITING NEIGHBORS. BE TRUTHFUL AND UPFRONT WHO YOU ARE IN YOUR ADVERTISING, SLIPS OF PAPER....ETC.. YOU DON'T NEED FRUIT BASKET BAIT AND SWITCH. BE HONEST. APOLOGY WILL BE ACCEPTED IF DO SO.
