I am rejecting this response because: Louie's Auto told my daughter that they could do the work and not to worry about the lot fee because they would be working on the car. I never received a certified letter until weeks after the car had been picked up by Louie's. I was not informed about the broken window by anyone. The window was broken and items were stolen from the car while in Louie's care. I should have been notified by Louie's as soon as it was brought to their lot, instead Louie's let the lot fees accumulate to a ridiculous amount. I don't think Louie's is trying to resolve anything, they got the money, and it's obvious that is all they care about.Regards,
[redacted]

Dear [redacted]:In response to the complaint of [redacted], our company was called by the Pennsylvania State Police on May 15, 2014 at 8:55am for an MVA south bound [redacted] at [redacted] involving a [redacted] blue in color bearing Pa registration [redacted]....

Typically police normally do a follow up visit to the hospital to further their investigation and inform owner of vehicle whereabouts and accident report. Vehicle owners’ insurance carrier inspected vehicle on June 11, 2014. How could insurance carrier know where vehicle was located? Vehicle owner knew State Police investigated incident. Did vehicle owner make an attempt to call them? After two weeks of no contact on vehicle a certified letter was sent out and unclaimed. One should understand that vehicle storage space cost to rent and therefore must be passed on. Non performance by vehicle owner normally starts abandoned vehicle process,Respectfully.

December 3, 2015Dear [redacted]:In response to the complaint of [redacted], our company was called out by the Pennsylvania State Police on November 6, 2015 for a vehicle sitting on ** northbound exit ** off ramp in a tow zone. [redacted] daughter came in to pick up vehicle with a copy of her...

dads driver's license and a signed note giving her permission to pick up vehicle, however [redacted] didn't have a valid driver's license so we couldn't release the car to her to drive away. She put $350 down and said she would be back. She never returned to pick up her dads car, so we sent out a certified letter as a reminder that the vehicle was still on our lot. On November 24th one of our drivers noticed that someone broke the window out of his car and from there we called the police and filed a report. Springettsbury Police Department attempted to contact [redacted], however the phone number they found for him came back to a fax number. On November 27th when [redacted]'s grandmother called and asked how much is owed on the car to be able to pick car up, she was in a bit of shock when she realized that her granddaughter only paid $350 on the towing and storage bill considering she said she had sent her $1000 to pick up the car.As far as performing any type of work on his [redacted], we don’t work on [redacted] we always refer customers to a shop who specializes in that make of car.Respectfully,Michelle J

Dear [redacted]:
In response to the complaint of [redacted]; As soon as the broken window was noticed by one of our drivers, I called the police right away and they filed a report. The police officer said he was going to call [redacted] and let him know about the broken window. Any further questions on this, you can contact Springettsbury Police Department ###-###-####
Like I stated in my last response, we do not work on [redacted] and did not agree to or offer to work on his car.
As far as notifying [redacted] when the vehicle arrived on our lot, the police department does not give us any vehicle owner information. I would think that is the vehicle owners responsibility to know where their vehicle is located. By law we do not have to notify the owner to let them know that their vehicle is on our lot. We sent out a certified letter as a courtesy before I filed abandoned vehicle charges.
Respectfully, Michelle J
