This is in response to your letter dated 9/15/Capano Homes Incfirst received notice from [redacted] , the home owner, regarding this issue on September 9, The house was settled on May 16, The builder only provides a one year warranty.The owner acknowledged in that letter, that a service person from Sobieski Mechanical did inspect the drain within the one year warranty The service date and receipt that was referred to in his letter was dated 3/20/15, which is over three years after the settlement dateOur builders warranty expired after one year and therefore is not covered which we informed the owner.We did indicate to the owner that he could place a claim with the Home Buyers Warranty CorporationThis warranty , started at settlement, is a limited year structural warranty that might provide coverage
