We are sorry that Mr*** is unhappy with his homeWe are a small company and to handle any customer service issues at the time of his purchase we made the decision to purchase on his behalf a 2-warrantyMr *** was also given the list of subcontractors that built his home to help
resolve any concernsOur subcontractors are reputable and typically provide great service during and after construction Prior to possession we completed a detailed list of what we call punch list itemsEarlier this year, we assisted Mr*** in correcting some floor joist that had warped, we provided the lumber and met with the framer onsite a couple of timesHis fence was blown down by heavy wind, we do not believe that is our responsibilityWe believe his home met or exceeded industry standards at the time of possession and when we were in the home a few months agoWe recommend that he use the resources provided for his customer service needs

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  LRH, LLC (Builder/Seller) of the house is in breach of contract.  LRH, LLC  comments made in response to our complaint disregard that they made commitments in writing that they have not lived up to.  1) LRH, LLC has not provided the post-move-in 'nick & dings' repairs that he said he would.  2) Builder/Seller has not responded to our request for a 1-year walk-through, which we are owed.  3) We do not feel that it's our responsibility to contact LRH, LLC's subcontractors directly for warranty repairs - we had no direct contract with the subs.  We do have a purchase/sales agreement with LRH, LLC .  In general, General Contractors like LRH, LLC are responsible for getting their subs back in for repairs as appropriate. It is not typical for a GC to duck out of the chain of responsibility and tell his customer to deal directly with his vendors.  But we did contact one flooring sub many months ago, and he said that he'd was willing to work on corrections, but to do it through LRH, LLC. We advised LRH, LLC of this response at that time, asking for follow-up. To date there has been none.4) LRH, LLC says they provided some floor repairs. Yes, in one location, but not the other location, despite implying that they would be proposing a fix for that second location. The repairs that LRH, LLC's team did make resulted in other problems which we advised LRH, LLC of shortly afterwards. Again, no follow-up received from LRH, LLC to date. All we are seeking is for LRH, LLC to follow-up on commitments that have been made to us.Sincerely,[redacted]
