Review: I had spent several weeks trying to get my vehicle repaired at Louis and Sons Auto. I had actually dropped my vehicle off several times to be repaired, kept in contact with the [redacted], only to be told that my repairs were not done although I was assured that they would be. I had continued to tell [redacted] that my car needed to be repaired by Friday, April **, 2014 because I intended on taking a trip down to see my daughter. He was aware of this several weeks prior (as I continued to bring my vehicle in with no repairs). Finally, on April **, 2014, [redacted] instructed me to bring my vehicle into the shop. I brought it in in the morning. He had notified me of a list of things that needed to be repaired. I kept in touch with him throughout the day, making sure that it would be completed. On Friday morning he said that the repairs would be done later in the morning. I arrived at the shop for him to tell me that my car was "safe to drive to Maryland," although all of the repairs were not completed. I confirmed several times that I could drive this vehicle down to Maryland from New York with no problem. He said there were still repairs that needed to be done, but that I would be safe. On my way to Maryland, I was on the highway with my younger daughter and dog, and we had an accident. Luckily, no other cars were hit and injuries were minor. However, my car was badly damaged. A tow truck driver who was also a mechanic came to pick up and look at my vehicle. He said that the hub bearing, which was the part that Louis and Sons Auto had repaired prior to my leaving New York that same day, had caused all the damage. The bolts and caliper were not tightened, causing over $1000 worth of damages to my vehicle. The [redacted] of Louis and Sons Auto made excuses and refused to own up for the negligence of his mechanic and put my daughter and me at risk. He further refused to pay for the amount of the damages done due to the unsatisfactory work of his mechanic.Desired Settlement: I desire that Louis and Sons Auto pay the total amount of damages done to my car because of the negligence of their mechanic. It came to a total of $1,015.27Also, I have lost wages and have accrued extra travel expenses for the additional days of stay. These expenses will vary each extra day I'm incapable of developing a resolution or if Louis and Sons Auto continues to refuse payment of these damages.

THEREFORE NO WORK WAS DONE THE SECOND TIME SHE BROUGHT HER CAR IN FOR SERVICE. THIS WAS THE LAST WE HEARD OF ANY PROBLEMS FROM HER. AS FAR AS PURCHASE PRICE AND DISPUTE IS THAT CAR WAS SOLD FOR 3500.00 PLUS WARRANTY COST, PLUS TAX TITLE TAGS AND FEES. ALSO WITH FINANCE CHARGES CAME TO THE 8900.00 MAYBE, NOT LOOKING AT THE CONTRACT SHE SIGN AND AGREED TO. SHE SIGNED A LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT WITH CRED IT ACCEPTANCE. NOT SURE WHY CUSTOMER IS WRITING TO Revdex.com ON CAR NEVER SHOULD HAVE PASSED NYSI. INSPECTION IS LEGAL AND NO COMPLAINT WAS EVER MADE TO US OTHER THAN THIS. THANKS FOR YOU HELP IN THIS MATTER.

Review: I took my car to Louis and sons auto for inspection and they totaled it.Now cant get a hold of the owner to get insurance info for his garage because my insurance company is not paying for the loss. geico is my insurance company.geico has sent them faxes and letters wanting their info and Louis and sons has not responded.this has gone on now for two weeks.Desired Settlement: I want Louis and sons auto to man up and give insurance info to geico.and,oh ya this is the garage that I bought it from and was making payments though to credit acceptance corp.
