I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Haley is correct that they did correspond with my mother directly as my job does not allow for personal call during business hoursMy mother was the one to reach out to Haley every week after the initial two week repair estimateNo one at Haley ever reached out to me or my wife with any updates when they were delaysThis went on for weeksEven when the vehicle was finally ready no one calledMy mother was not part of the conference call with Haley and [redacted] ***It is apparent that no one test drove the vehicle or they would have noticed the two engine lightsWhen approached about the lights we were turned away and told to come back I had to borrow a vehicle for weeks due to this major inconvenienceWhat would someone else have done if they had not had access to another vehicle to drive for that period of time? We chose to let Haley do the repair because we were under the impression that since it was a dealer we would get the best customer serviceWe were mistaken Regards, *** [redacted]

In ref to this complaint *** last ***: My body shop *** never had communication with Mr ***All communication was with his motherWe explained to her that the original week promise was in the event everything went as plannedWe also explained that there was a
supplement to the original estimate for of more repairsWe also explained that the used pillar for the repair had been cut wrong from the salvage yard and was not usable therefore we had to wait for a second one to be cut correctly and shipped to us for the weld in installWe had a three way call with the mother, agent and claims handler to help explain to the mother so that she would understand also. When I received this complaint from the Revdex.com I reached out to the customer to see if there was anything else I could help him withHe *** that a light was on the dash and the bumper needed adjustingHe also ***d that he wanted us to give him $for the time involved for the repairI told him we were sorry of the extra time and reexplained of the problemI offered to supply him a vehicle and check the bumper and light on the dash for him, but that we would not be giving a to him for anything. We feel that we did the job correctly and did have enough conversations and even with the *** claims division explaining to the customer of the situationWe have offered to handle the other issues for the customer if he elects to schedule for inspectionWhen I told the customer that we would not be giving him the he requested he *** fine that he will not be needing anything at all from usWe are sorry that he is unhappy but, we did try to resolveSincerely, Hoyt Parris
