This purchase transaction turned out to be a complete waste of time and money for methe item was broken.plus I gave him an extra $for the transaction, which he has not acknowledged in any of his replies
Regards,

*** *** originally came into the shop to on 7/4/to have us replace a blown tweeter on a used set of speakers that he had purchased a replacement part for. During the process of repairing the speaker, Mr*** decided to purchase replacement tower speakers
instead. Mr*** asked my opinion about a few speakers he was looking at ordering online until I told him about a customer of ours that was looking at selling his tower speakers to upgrade to some newer speakers. This other customer had contacted me the previous week asking if I would help him sell his used Cerwin Vega Model RL18P tower speakers for $400.00/pair as the speakers cost him over $1,000/pair when he bought them new. I told Mr*** about the used Cerwin Vegas and he negotiated the price of the speakers down to $for the pair. I made it very clear to Mr*** that I was not making any money off this transaction and was simply linking these two individuals up. The speakers were dropped off at my shop on 7/16/2016. As a customer service to Mr***, I tested the tower speakers individually with a digital multimeter and the impedance of all the drivers tested perfectly. They also all tone generated perfectly. As Mr*** didn't bring a receiver to test the speakers himself, I also had one of my techs connect an ipod to the built in sub amp and subwoofer to also show Mr*** that the sub section was working flawlessly. Mr *** purchased the speakers and was aware that they were sold to him by the customer as "USED WITH NO WARRANTY". I also held the money he dropped off for hours before it was released to the seller so that Mr, *** had adequate time to check out the used speakers. The speakers obviously worked flawlessly for him for over SIX MONTHS!! I wasn't contacted about any problem with these speakers until Jan 28th 2017. At that time Mr*** said in an email that he felt like the used speakers he purchased off one of our customers over months ago had a bad speaker in it that he hadn't previously noticed. He then wrote me on Feb 14th saying that he had sold the used tower speakers on craigslist for $and wanted me to refund him $or he would call the police and report me to the Revdex.com. Mr*** never had anyone actually even verify that anything was blown or damaged at any point on these speakers--he simply "assumed" they were blown, "assumed" they had been blown for over months and then decided to sell them on craigslist. Interestingly enough he was still able to sell them for only $less than he purchased them for originally. At Soundsational we have prided ourselves on our customer service for the last years of being in business in this area but this consumer is simply being unreasonable and we will absolutely NOT refund him ANY money on these non warrantied and used speakers he purchased last year off a customer and then decided to sell on Craigslist

Mr [redacted] purchased used speakers off of a customer NOT the store.  He had adequate time to check out and test the speakers and report an issue (which he did not).  The speakers were sold to him by a customer as used with NO warranty.  He didn't report any problem on his non warranty used speakers for almost 6 months.  Before he even had them checked out to even verify any potential problem he sold them to someone else on craigslist.  We will not pay Mr. [redacted] anything simply because he has threatened this business.  We pride ourselves in our outstanding customer service over our 22 plus years of business but any problem Mr. [redacted] has is not with this business.

this message is to the Revdex.com mediator:so, now that you have enough info to make a decision, are you going to decide who is right and finish this process, or are you just going to stand back and let the back and forth continue indefinitely?
