TeWe would love to have the opportunity to come out and assess these issues and discuss solutions to ensure the clients are happyAs we told the client last year we will reiterate again, we are happy to come and resolve these issues for youWe strive to provide a quality product and superb workmanship for every client The near perfect results of our work is greatly dependent on the condition of the home that we are working onMany of the concerns mentioned within have never been brought to our attention prior to this letterThe issues we were made aware of during the course of the project were immediately addressed At the end of the project the client became unresponsive to our calls and emailsOnce contact was re-established we were told about only two items; a joint in the crown molding and a drip under the sinkThe client did not want us to fix these nor did they want to pay their final billSome time in the future the bill was paid but they did not want the repairs madeBelow we will address some of the items listed in MsBallard’s letter and reiterate we are happy to resolve these issues for her.We inform our clients that we are remodeling a very specific area with specific items listed in the signed project order If floors or ceiling are unlevel, this will greatly affect the cabinetry being installed While we install our cabinetry level on the wall we cannot guarantee that the floors and ceiling in the home are also level, because of this we never install crown all the way to the ceilingWe always leave a 1” – ¼” gap to blend in ceiling imperfections We are very clear about this process with all our clients and it is clearly defined in the signed drawingsSince the homeowner installed their own tile backsplash, we can not respond to the appearance, quality or workmanship. We purchased and installed a new recirculating, stainless steel vent hood and connected it to an existing venting systemIt’s difficult to assess the issue without looking at it, however, we were unaware of any issue concerning the vent hood prior to this letter When we remove a soffit, we make it clear to our clients that we cannot see what is inside the cavity and therefore cannot guarantee any conditions contained within it As was the case when we removed the soffit for this client it contained excessive electric wiring within This unknown item was clearly noted on the signed Project Order Furthermore, we hired an electrician to relocate all the wiring contained within and we did not charge the client for nearly $this cost usIf they require additional electrical services they should contact an electrician of their choosing. We were contracted to install can lights in the ceiling We were not contracted to provide any other electrical other than that which is stated on the Project Order signed by the clientAs previously stated we did some pro bono electric for the clientWe only repair drywall in the affected areas that we work in we were not contracted for the repair of drywall in any other areaThe clients dishwasher is located directly beside the sink, a chase or hole must be present for the water and drain to lines to pass throughThis is industry standardWe would love to have the opportunity to come out and assess these issues and discuss solutions to ensure the clients are happyAs we told the client last year we will reiterate again, we are happy to come and resolve these issues for you

workmanship for every client.  The near perfect results of our work is greatly dependent on the condition of the home that we are working on. Many of the concerns mentioned within have never been brought to our attention prior to this letter. The issues we were made aware of during the course of the project were immediately addressed.  At the end of the project the client became unresponsive to our calls and emails. Once contact was re-established we were told about only two items; a joint in the crown molding and a drip under the sink. The client did not want us to fix these nor did they want to pay their final bill. Some time in the future the bill was paid but they did not want the repairs made. Below we will address some of the items listed in Ms. Ballard’s letter and reiterate we are happy to resolve these issues for her.We inform our clients that we are remodeling a very specific area with specific items listed in the signed project order.  If floors or ceiling are unlevel, this will greatly affect the cabinetry being installed.  While we install our cabinetry level on the wall we cannot guarantee that the floors and ceiling in the home are also level, because of this we never install crown all the way to the ceiling. We always leave a 1” – 1 ¼” gap to blend in ceiling imperfections.  We are very clear about this process with all our clients and it is clearly defined in the signed drawings. Since the homeowner installed their own tile backsplash, we can not respond to the appearance, quality or workmanship. We purchased and installed a new recirculating, stainless steel vent hood and connected it to an existing venting system. It’s difficult to assess the issue without looking at it, however, we were unaware of any issue concerning the vent hood prior to this letter.  When we remove a soffit, we make it clear to our clients that we cannot see what is inside the cavity and therefore cannot guarantee any conditions contained within it.  As was the case when we removed the soffit for this client it contained excessive electric wiring within.  This unknown item was clearly noted on the signed Project Order.  Furthermore, we hired an electrician to relocate all the wiring contained within and we did not charge the client for nearly $1000 this cost us. If they require additional electrical services they should contact an electrician of their choosing. We were contracted to install 4 can lights in the ceiling.  We were not contracted to provide any other electrical other than that which is stated on the Project Order signed by the client. As previously stated we did some pro bono electric for the client. We only repair drywall in the affected areas that we work in we were not contracted for the repair of drywall in any other areaThe clients dishwasher is located directly beside the sink, a chase or hole must be present for the water and drain to lines to pass through. This is industry standard. We would love to have the opportunity to come out and assess these issues and discuss solutions to ensure the clients are happy. As we told the client last year we will reiterate again, we are happy to come and resolve these issues for you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Charges for an electrician were allocated within what we paid to you. Please see attached pictures regarding issues with the cabinets that were never resolved, even after multiple attempts were made by your company to come out and fix the cabinets. Your company sawed a large hole in the bottom the cabinet. A part of the contract is that your company takes care of the electric and plumbing. It is included on the itemized statement we received and we were also told this verbally. There were no floors in place whenever the cabinets were installed, so the cabinets should have been placed and made sure that they were going to be level so that I myself or someone of my choosing could put in a backsplash easily. Please see all attached pictures, there are more pictures available on your review that I posted on Google as well, since the Revdex.com will only allow me to place 4 pictures. Your company came out to our house at least 5 times to fix these issues and they were still unresolved. Many times your company was "sending" someone out that day but no one ever showed up.
