Infiniti we pride ourselves on our attention to Customer ServiceMs*** bought a pre-owned Infiniti QXfrom my sales department on 9/30/Ms*** contacted my service department on 10/2/regarding a window trim piece that was looseOn 10/4/Ms*** visited my service department and was provided a service loaner to drive while we replaced the widow trim pieceMs*** also contacted my service department regarding an amber marker bulb that was out and on subsequent visit was provided a courtesy vehicle while my service team addressed her concerns I reached out to Mrs*** on 11/6/and again on 11/9/regarding her concerns and questions. Mrs*** has an appointment scheduled with my service department on 11/10/to allow us to address her questions regarding her Infiniti QXI have offered to have a member of my team go over the delivery portion of her purchase again to answer any questions she may have regarding the controls of the vehicle Ms*** has contacted my sales team requesting to trade her QXin on a newer modelTo do so would raise her payment so she decided to keep her QXand allow us to address her concerns through service Sincerely, *** *** General Sales Manager Louisville Infiniti ***

This vehicle was purchased on 10/21/2015 after the dealership had performed our normal inspections and reconditioning.  While we take every effort to sell safe/reliable pre-owned vehicles-sometimes there are situations that come up after the sale that need to be addressed.  Once we were...

made aware of the issues with the Equinox we made every effort to get the car in and find out what the problems were.  After a couple attempts of trying to diagnose things at the Infiniti store (with limited success) we sent the Equinox to a GMC store so they could diagnose it further-Infiniti paid for all the diagnostic work to be performed.   On 1/16/2016 (with 90827 miles) they started an oil consumption test and asked for it to be brought back in 1000 miles for a re-check.  On 3/4/2016 (94052 miles) the Equinox was brought back to the GMC store to verify the results of the testing...at that time it was confirmed that the Equinox had an issue with consuming more oil than was normal and this was effecting many of the engine sensors and causing the rough running condition.  GMC fixed the engine and oil consumption issue along with replacing spark plugs, sensors and actuators with new factory replacements using Certified Technicians.  All this work was performed at no cost to the customer.  Unfortunately we had no way of catching this issue before the vehicle was sold and made every effort to get the Equinox repaired correctly .  As of this date the Equinox had been picked up from the GMC store by the customer and we are not aware of any other issues.

The complaint in question has been forwarded to [redacted], the contact with the selling agent for Virginia Edwards Warranty.  [redacted] informed me on the 20th of February that she and [redacted] have been in contact and working to a resolution. Please...
