Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below 1st of all when I talked with Mr [redacted] when he came to our home, he did ask me why I purchased glueI stated that the flooring company ( Lumber Liquidator's ) that if we was putting the Bamboo flooring in the kitchen it would be best for the glue because the floating floor would let water get down below the flooring and cause the floor to warpI ask him what he thought? I said if it is not true I can take the glue back and he could nail itIt was no problem with myself and my wifeSO he was not truthful in this statementAnd I wish it was in day's, it was over weeks and I have witness's that I can prove it Yes my daughter recommended them because the Lumber Liquidator's were over one month behind and Mr [redacted] said he could have it done in day's, which I stated it took over weeksHe stated that we put the refrigerator on the floor to soon, The flooring where it was at was done day's prior in that section and his employee's put it there because they said it was safe and as they did that they dropped it on the floor! Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.     1st of all when I talked with Mr. [redacted] when he came to our home, he did ask me why I purchased glue. I stated that the flooring company ( Lumber Liquidator's ) that if we was putting the Bamboo flooring in the kitchen it would be best for the glue because the floating floor would let water get down below the flooring and cause the floor to warp. I ask him what he thought? I said if it is not true I can take the glue back and he could nail it. It was no problem with myself and my wife. SO he was not truthful in this statement. And I wish it was in 4 day's, it was over 3 weeks and I have witness's that I can prove it.   Yes my daughter recommended them because the Lumber Liquidator's were over one month behind and Mr. [redacted] said he could have it done in 3 day's, which I stated it took over 3 weeks. He stated that we put the refrigerator on the floor to soon, The flooring where it was at was done 2 day's prior in that section and his employee's put it there because they said it was safe and as they did that they dropped it on the floor! As far as us walking on it, that is not true. We only walked to the sink and back because the floor was not in yet.  Mr [redacted] has no idea who did what because he only came over late at night to see why it was taking so long. I own my own company and I know how things are but there was never no one stating that we quit walking on the floor's and that Mr. [redacted] stating that he told us that glue was not a good idea. Again I ask his opinion before they started. There is nail holes and damaged flooring and level flooring. As far as the leveler that I purchased it is a big bag and they only used about 1/4 of it and it still sitting in the garage. As far as a discounted flooring Morning Star Brand is well know.

My name is [redacted] not [redacted] as the complaint reads. I am the owner of Louisville Maintenance and Construction, LLC  and  and an A+ accredited member of the Revdex.com since May of 2014. I am writing this in regard to a complaint by [redacted]. [redacted] was referred to our company...

by [redacted], his [redacted] who is a manager with one of the companies we perform services for.  I must first explain that our company services primarily management companies in regards to building maintenance, grounds care, and housekeeping services. We employ service techs that have experience in a wide variety of skills from masonry, roofing, framing, trim carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, paint, drywall and various other skills including floor installation. Mr [redacted] contacted me in November not in December as he stated to install the floor. He had purchased a Bamboo floor for his kitchen from one of the discounters in town and although he had a quote from the store he purchased the product from he wanted us to do it because of the recommendation of his daughter. ( the floor was approximately 14' x 24' kitchen dining area with appliances and an island) was installed over the course of 4 consecutive days. Prior to Thanksgiving. One day was very short as we had an emergency call that morning causing the tech and helper to not arrive until after lunch and the forth day was cleanup and finishing the installation of some trim if I remember correctly. I do remember there was 2 or 3 pieces that the owner wanted us to address. in particular by the refrigerator that had been rolled back over the floor with out allowing time to set up properly. not only this but the owners repeatedly were walking across the floor during installation with our objections. Let me say this is typically a snap together floating floor installation but he insisted on a glue together install. Not a recommendation we would have ever made and we expressed that to him. never the less  he insisted on the glue down installation. We made sure the material was acclimated to the house for ample time prior to the installation  so as to not have issue with the installation.  we immediately ran into problems with not just the levelness of the floor but the squareness of the room as well. after floor leveler (supplied by the customer) was applied we began the installation. Our technicians are used to customers wanting to watch or check on progress and in this instance it was even more expected as the installer and his significant other were personal friends of the step daughter of Mr. [redacted]. how ever the traffic on this floor during installation and immediately afterwards by the homeowners was extremely excessive and repeatedly ill advised by the installer and myself as well. We cannot be liable for the performance of a product we did not purchase or recommend. as far as the installation. we followed manufacturers guidelines. Since this was a discount brand that we had little exposure to and we were performing an installation we did not recommend, we did check with the manufacturers installation recommendations on YOUTUBE prior to installation. I will further say that we have been operating constantly since October, 2012. I am not sure where the "bankruptcy" came from but we continue to operate and still are servicing his step daughters employer as well as several others companies. I have, [redacted], in an attempt to slow down a bit, sold off the landscaping and housekeeping businesses but that just transpired on June 1. CALL LMC TODAY TO MAKE YOUR LANDSCAPE WORRIES GO AWAY!
