Complaint ID [redacted] On 12-8-we installed a mini split system on the 2nd floorOn 5-26-the customer called us about a water leakThe tech found that the leak was due to a clogged drainOn 5-28-the install department moved the wall unit higher on the wall to allow better water flow on the drain lineThe master bedroom wall did have water spots due to the leak from the drain line clogging upI told the customer we would help out on the paint repairs on the master bedroom wallOn 9-11-the customer met the tech at the property where she claimed the unit was leaking againThe tech found the leak was coming from the roofThe tech showed the leak to the customer and she agreed it was coming from the roofWe did not charge the customer for the service call even though the leak was not related to the unitWe received an email on 11-04-from the customer stating she would like us to extend the labor warranty on the system for another year to help offset the repair on the paintWe agreed since there were some water spots on the master bedroom wall from the clogged drain line.On 3-5-almost years later the customers painter called us stating he needed money for the work he had done on her kitchen ceiling from the roof leakI refused to pay him because it was not our responsibility for that damageWe called the customer on 3-9-and left her a messageThe customer reached back out to us on 3-14-The customer did not remember about the extra warranty that was given to her and responded that that will not cover the full bill of the repair, and is going to have an estimate done on the master bedroom and get back with us

On 9-11-16 the customer met the tech at the property where she claimed the unit was leaking again. The tech found the leak was coming from the roof. The tech showed the leak to the customer and she agreed it was coming from the roof. We did not charge the customer for the service call even though the leak was not related to the unit. We received an email on 11-04-2016 from the customer stating she would like us to extend the labor warranty on the system for another year to help offset the repair on the paint.
