Love My Car Carwash

I received an email from the customer claiming that as soon as she entered the carwash, her tire lost air and she sent the attached picture labeled " [redacted] - Tire Picture from Email".I responded to her and stating that the damage to the tire appears to be done prior to coming to the carwash based on the existence of the yellow stain inside the gouge which is also all over her tire Had this gouge was caused as soon as she entered the carwash, the yellow stain will not be present inside the gougeThen she posted another picture online showing the tire has holesOnce I saw that picture, I was assured that this damage to the tire didn’t happen at the carwash because it is impossible for a single spot on the conveyor to cause a damage on the same tire at opposite sides since the car is movingThe tire damage is on the inside part of the driver front tireThe only thing that would come in contact with the tire is the conveyor wall which is less that 3” tall.I expressed to the customer that I was glad that the tire failed when she was at very low speed and not while driving at the highway out of concern for her safetyThe tire was prone to fail at any time.She took her car to [redacted] and they also told her that the tire was previously damaged I am not responsible for her tire damage and therefore, I a not responsible for any compensation

I am rejecting this response because:What the business owner is saying is absolutely false: First of all there was no yellow stain on my tire, I don't know where that is coming from.*** *** never said the damage was done previously, as a matter of fact *** *** said I could not have driven with the tire with the holesAs an additional proof; the car wash cleaners themselves tried to put air over and over while wiping the car and the air could not stay in the tireI purchased the Tire from *** who actually mentioned that the holes could have only be done by a machine and that I could not have driven on the tireWhen I was ushered in the spotless car wash, we heard the air go out, even my passenger heard and asked me if the car wash guy was putting air in and I said no, because that is not what they doAfter discovering my flat tire the car wash guy actually tried to persuade me not to file a complaint because he said I will not get anything out of itAgain what the owner is saying is pure lie how can I drive in with a perfect tire and right after the wash have a complete absolute flat?

Review: After taking my car to this company for a detail and car wash, my car was dirtier than when I brought it in. The owner, [redacted], had me bring the car back and they cleaned up their mess. In the process of recleaning my car, they broke my back windshield wiper. The owner and I were in contact many, many times over 6 months or so and he kept promising to mail me the replacement wiper for my car. I have yet to receive the part!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me IF they mail me the replacement part. That is what I wanted all along. The reason I could not bring my car back to his facility for them to install the wiper arm was because the owner was not readily available. I work for a living and was not able to "swing by" during the minimal time frames he suggested. That is why he agreed to ship me the part on October 6, 2013. Just of note, I have a lengthy email chain that occurred over several months (September 2013-December 2013 when the owner stopped responding to me) with the owner. This is NOT the first time he has heard of this complaint! He stopped responding to my emails and texts messages so in order to get this long standing issue resolved, I reached out for help. Also, the owner will remember the pictures I showed him of my car after if was "cleaned" at his facility and it WAS left in a dirtier state. They did satisfactorily clean the car after I complained. Thank you Revdex.com for you assistance!Desired Settlement: On February 18, 2014, I agreed to the resolution if the business owner shipped me the wiper part he owes me for my car. It is over a month later and I have not received the wiper assembly. THAT is all I want. Stop wasting my time and ship it to me!
