We contacted Love4Frenchies, because they stated that they supported Military, Veterans, and Fire and Police Officers. This is important because I am a 80% disable vet who served during the 9/11 period. When we contacted the owner we told him that my wife was looking for a French Bulldog as she wanted to start a business also breeding French Bulldogs that can be used with veterans suffering from other aliments, as well as some personal sales. We connect and the guy was nice. My wife was very specific asking if the dog was AKC on the first phone call. He said parents were but litter was not AKC. If we were willing to pay an additional $100 dollars he would get us the papers for the puppy.When we met owner he collected and counted the money minus the 10% discount for veterans, but also collected the extra $100 for the papers. My wife confirmed when he count that the $100 extra was for the papers and he said no problem give him a couple days.I texted him within the time frame and said he wasn't registering the litter. You could see we were shocked. Then he claimed that he was confused on the extra hundred, then I was confused and so on. Then I sent him the paper work he gave me on the dog and told him that they were two different dogs. He called me a liar. I contacted his vet and neither paper work was for the dog he sold me.Then he had the audacity when I told him I was working with AKC on this issue to say: "You will never be able to get papers without my consent and also those the papers that are registered to my name arn't the papers for your specific dog. So the DNA won't match. Those papers for your dog parents are registered to another family member of mine. Have a good day" He told us this was his dog and now its someone else. He was confused on the papers, confused on the $100 dollars, and confused on the shot records. Cannot believe this veteran was taken advantage of this was a month and a half of disability check to help my wife start a business. We wouldn't pay 2800 for a non AKC Pup

As you stated in your complaint and as I stated to you over the phone, yes the parents are registered but we have decided not to register the litter. There are a few reasons we decided not to register the litter that I had mentioned to you on the phone. The first reason is because 4 out of the 5 puppies that were in the litter already had deposits on them before they were ready to go to there new homes and their owners didn't care for papers so we decided not to register the litter at all. The second reason as I explained to you over the phone is because we want our puppies to go to good loving family homes that don't care about breeding or papers. I had mentioned to you as well on the phone that you are welcome to breed because as soon you purchase the puppy the puppy is now officially yours and you are welcome to do whatever you would like with her but there will be no papers.
When we met or no where in the text messages did we ever talk about paperwork. The first initial phone call we had where we talked about papers it seems like it was a huge communication for you because as a business we would never offer a customer something that we are not willing to provide.
The $100 that we collected from you was a huge misunderstanding. I had no idea that you were handing me extra money for registering the the puppy. I would have brought up the matter right away and reminded you again that she doesn't come with papers. Also not sure where you heard that it would be a $100 to register a puppy because thats not even the correct price to do so.
Yes I will admit that I accidentally did give you the wrong vaccination records but that was a hurried mistake by me and I apologize. I did make it right by talking to the vet office that issued the vaccination records and allowed them to send you all the correct vaccination records and health certificates for your specific puppy via email.
You tried calling AKC and trying to register a puppy without my authorization or consent and yes I did mention to you that they wont do anything for you without contacting me and receiving my permission to register or apply for anything for my specific dogs. Thats pretty obvious and that would be illegal for them to release any of my belongings or information without my permission. Also, yes one of the dogs thats a parent to your puppy is registered to one of my family members so by you calling AKC and trying to register a puppy you wouldn't be able to do so even if AKC allowed it because one of the parents is not registered to me therefore they would not be able to find access to that dogs file without knowing any information.
And no we didn't take advantage of you. We helped you from the beginning to find the puppy your family was looking for on top of providing you a pretty large discount for being a veteran. I know that you told me the puppy you have is great and i'm happy to hear that but we in no way tried to take advantage of you or your family. Your wife is still welcome to start her business with the puppy if she would like.
