Loveland's Laundromat and Di's Free Time Drop Off Laundry Service Reviews (1)

June 17, 2018RE: ***We are a small, local, family run business, maintaining all equipment to our best ability.? Loveland's Laundromat is open very extended hours for the convenience of those utilizing it.? While it is checked on and swept multiple and varying times any given day, we
are unable to live there.? Or by the phone for that matter.? However, we ALWAYS return messages and make things right, given the opportunity.? Our phone number is posted in multiple locations and there exists a message box on the front counter.? Responses are made as promptly as possible.? When aware of a malfunction, and unable to fix it immediately, equipment is labeled with an out of order sign.? Repairs, however, cannot be made until we are aware of their necessity, specifically, which machine and what it's doing.? Unfortunately, society is such that some have no problem leaving messes behind in public places.? So, there are times when areas may appear “dirty.”? ? Usually just dryer sheets, leaves, and/or pocket debris left behind.? ? There exist brooms hanging in the front and rear of the laundry, unless someone has stolen them.? Floors are mopped daily, swept repeatedly, and machines/spills cleaned.? Busy times are unpredictable. On June 2, three threatening and accusatory voice mails were left by complainant.? Another was left with the drop off attendant.? On June 3, calls were returned.? A message was left asking for clarification and offering resolution, this has not been answered.? Instead, slanderous reviews were left on line, and to the Revdex.com.? Unfortunately, this means I still do not know what machine may have taken said monies, or what even happened, as all equipment was working when I left, and upon my return.? However, we are always happy to reimburse such complaints, as all equipment is mechanical, sees great usage (or at times abuse, out of our control).? So, things do arise from time to time. While I have no prior voice mails from this individual, it is possible it's been deleted.? Which would mean one of four scenarios:? I returned the message, and left a VM, I was unable to understand the message, there was no return phone number left, or there was no ability to leave a return message at that number (no VM, or VM full).? In which case, I will try a couple of times over the next week or so, and then delete.? However, if a message is received (with an understandable number), it is returned.? Should I be knowingly unavailable, my message will share when a return call can be expected.? ? By “taking it upon himself to unplug the machine” this gentleman bypassed the built in factory safety mechanisms.? Therefore, it spilled water on the floor.? The door would not unlock because the machine was not ready for it to.? The most common cause of such is simply to much soap causing a suds lock and inability to drain.? Given time for this condition to settle, the machine will finish as it should.? This could be as little as min or as much as several hours, depending upon the severity.? For some equipment, to heavy of a load will do similar.? Again, no message, no machine number, I know not which machine this was.? Signs regarding amount of soap to use and machine capacity are throughout.? ? ? It is true we are in the process of redoing the bathroom and floor throughout the laundromat.? Evidence of this is the new flooring down several aisles, fresh paint, and that ALL baseboards have been partially removed.? While overdue, this does not make anything dirty, just not pretty, yet still very functional.? Ironically, much of the remainder of flooring was laid the next week.? Admittedly, this process has taken longer than anticipated due to numerous hangups.? Not the least of which is keeping the laundry equipment itself running properly as our top priority.? That is, after all, the reason we are all there.? ?
