I hope someone reads this before they commit to purchasing a kitten/cat from these scammers. The websites for buying or adoption pets are notorious for being poorly put together, homemade sites...so even though this was a crappy website I wasn't suspicious. I reached out via the email page on golycattery.com to inquire about a kitten, and was told it was available and for 800$ it could be mine. After I paid them --via Zelle which is an approved system utilized by my bank--they demanded another (later refundable) charge of $1500 for shipping. I unwittingly paid it, despite my reservations, because I was so eager to have the kitten. Not only did they fail to send pictures of the cat when I requested to see it though, they also demanded more money once I paid the 1500$...I then called/emailed/texted I wanted a refund and it did not come. I used my work cell phone to pretend to reach out and inquire about the same kitten (supposedly the one I had just bought) and they said it was available. That was when I knew for sure I was scammed.

We have got to track these people down; with the claims I've seen between the Revdex.com and FTC, they have scammed thousands of dollars away from people. I am heartbroken, and also so angry this occurred.

We purchased a Siberian kitten from Sivan cattery for $800.00 on Feb 21, 2019. We received a Bill of Sale, and in it was not included any mention of $1500.00 we would need to pay to the shipping company (Snap Shipping) to ensure the safe passage of our cat from Georgia to Massachusetts. The shipping company told us we would have to pay that within 24 hours, otherwise the kitten would be placed in quarantine for 2 months and we would be held accountable for pet abuse. Sivan Cattery, owner Cyril Jamie, never mentioned anything about this. At this point we are sure there is no cat, and we'd like our money back. We paid her via Zelle, and when I sent a request for the $800 back, she declined my request. Absolute criminals.

This is a scam he has pictures of animals that he does not have. I paid him for an animal he still has advertised.

My wife went on line to purchase a Scottish fold kitten. She went to [email protected] and entered into a contract with the owner James At***. For a fee of $800 he would ship by airfreight in an IATA compliant pet crate an 8/9 weeks old scottish fold kitten. The fee of #800 to cover shipping, shots, , vaccinations and microchip. The kitten was to be shipped by ***.com for a refundable insurance fee of $1500 Also not refunded. After all the requirements were met on my part they, the shipping company and Mr At*** stated we needed and additional IATA required shipping crate for an additional $2080 which we did not pay. Its my belief that both parties are running a scam. I may not be able to get my monies back but maybe we can prevent them from doing this to other ladies who has recently lost a companion. Tdhe total owed by both enties is $2300. Thank You very for your time. John Morrow

On January 6, 2019 I purchased a registered Maine Cn cat named Terry that was advertised on the website Coly Cattery. Before sending my $800 through Zelle I was communicating with the breeder Martin A or his wife. I inquired about two kittens, Oli and Terry..both said to be 12 weeks old. My husband and I decided to purchase Terry. We communicated often with the breeder, signed a contract which stated the $800 included shipping to our home. Once I sent the money it became more difficult to get information about the delivery, but finally Mr. A responded stating that the cat would be sent on Jan. 7th. On the 7th I received an email from *** Shipping Service stating the cat was at their facility but could not be shipped until I paid $1500 for insurance. The payment would be refunded to me in cash by the courier when the cat arrived to my house. I was skeptical about this because I understood my cost for the cat included shipping so I called Mrs. A and she confirmed I did have to pay for the insurance which once again involved transferring money throug Zelle. I called the shipping company again asking to see a picture of the cat at the facility to assure me there was a cat there and he refused. During this time my son in law researched this business only to find a similar complaint from a man Dec. 9th about the cat Oli. This concerned me because the man purchased a so called cat named Oli... the same cat I inquired about a month later! He was a victim like me. I am convinced that these people have cats on their website that don't exist. How could Oli have been available to me if a man bought her last month? Needless to say I never paid for the so called cat to be delivered to me but I feel I've been scammed out of $800. I will contact the police if my money is not refunded. Very bad experience and we are heartbroken.
