I Tasha owner of lovely hair designs would like to apologize to you Miss *** for not understanding this process and t resolving this matter for you sooner however we would like to offer you a full refundPlease confirm address so a fulll refund can be sent via certified mail I would also like to offer you some biotin supplements that encourage hair growth again I am sorry for the delay snd your dissatisfaction of services

When *** first came in she spoke with I Tasha , she was wearing a bandana and I could somewhat see her dreads coming from underneath .I realized they were very long and heavy and that she had used different techniques, different extension methods and colors over the last several yearsI
explained I use the Palm roll method she then explained that the interlock method is what she preferredI explained to her that I was somewhat familiar and could further learn Because of this I told her I would give her a first time discount of $she said she had special small tool and would bring it in on her appointment because she knew the ones we had and said they were not the right one because they were to large. She originally had an appointment scheduled for the following Monday later on in the afternoon . She then called that following Monday and canceled an hour before her appointment so she was then rescheduled with another stylist because I Tasha do have a hr cancellation policy so in order to waive that fee I scheduled her with another stylist . She then had a new appointment scheduled for a couple days later on a Wednesday. *** came in for her appointment I asked her if she brought her tool, she said she did not but still wanted it done with the tools we had available at the salon. Throughout the process of her service I came back and checked on the client several times she seemed very happy they were joking smilingI also check the technique that she was receiving and the small hairs we're being crocheted in and out of the dreadsShe then received a very beautiful updo ( please see attached picture) and in return tipped the stylist $A couple days later the client called me said she was unsatisfied with her styleI said no problem come back in ,it would be $an hour for us to keep crocheting .as it does depend on the texture of so fine hair, it does slip out if the dreads if they are extremely long and heavyI also asked her to bring her tool . So after talking to the independent Contractor that completed *** hair, she believes this is fair :a 50% refund and 50% off service a service in the future. We can mail the check to the address provided if that is okay

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Tasha is being entirely deceitful about several issues that have nothing to do with what was & wasn't done to my hair such as the 'new client cost', the tool used,  & even the correct date of my appointment change. She is outrageously making things worse by trying to blame me for my new growth not being crocheted into my dreadlocks. Again, I did not bring my crochet hook because she assured me she had all the sizes as she does root maintenance on her husband's dreadlocks. The hook Bre'aja held but evidently did not use during my appointment is the exact same as mine, so I don't understand what her angle is there. I have NEVER gone to a salon & been offered a 'partial service' & I never would, that's ridiculous. Tasha never said anything financial about the service I requested except that it will cost $75. She is now saying she didn't see how much new growth I had because I was wearing a bandana, yet before she quoted the cost, she asked me to show her what she'd be working with, so I removed it, she looked at it & touched some of my new growth & told my boyfriend & I $75, nothing more aside from writing my appointment down including my phone number & giving me her business card.  Now Tasha expects us to believe she'd quote a price without having a good look at the state of my hair?  She keeps changing the events but even so, her lies do not add up. Look again at the morning after pictures of all the new growth sticking out saturated with honey. I could've put honey in my hair in much less time & twisted it myself for the cost of a bottle of honey instead of paying $75. I would never knowingly have this process done to my beautiful, colorful 6+ year old dreads which I have since had to cut off due to the immense amount of honey saturating them. Why was my back to the mirror for the entire process? Neither stylist EVER said anything about more costs, Tasha just dumped me on Bre'aja, attended to another client & told her what to do. Initially I was understanding towards Bre'aja, but I realize she knows she is culpable as for her part, she wasn't crocheting my hair at all. Tasha & Bre'aja know without a doubt it was wrong to deceive me. I  happily thought I was going to be a regular client & was so looking forward to my appointment. The cute braid Bre'aja provided was merely a trick to further make it appear as though my dreadlocks were fully crocheted. Tasha points out that we conversed throughout the appointment, as I stated in my complaint, Bre'aja was pleasant & doing as instructed  by Tasha, right down to the teddy bear bottle of honey Tasha brought over to her & without my knowledge Bre'aja heaped it into my hair as an other trick to make my hair appear intact instead of actually using the crochet hook method we discussed. Furthermore, I think that the fake polite conversation only makes it disgustingly more deceptive, especially since I repeatedly told Bre'aja & Tasha how tight my dreads felt & I also told Bre'aja how two other stylists did a poor job in the past by not completely incorporating my new growth, however, they ultimately accomplished more than she herself did, the whole time she was duping me. As far as the appointment change, I had a meeting with my insurance attorney regarding an automobile accident in which I suffered injuries (also why I a t present can't do my dreads) was unavoidably moved up. I next called Tasha, which  actually was 2 days prior to the initial appointment (I was so disappointed to have to wait longer). Tasha said it was fine, not a problem & that she'd see me at the new appointment. Now during this last phone conversation, Tasha was at first apologetic & offered me a full refund, she then said that I spoke to her 'receptionist', not her about the change, that I called the same day as my appointment & also that I'm lucky she didn't charge me her usual '$25 same day cancellation fee.' Why lie about something so simple as an appointment change, & what does it have to do with the outcome of my honey soaked hair? Unbelievable & petty, I definitely spoke to Tasha herself when I changed the appointment as I addressed  her by name & made sure she'd still be the stylist doing my hair because of her experience working with dreadlocks was very key. What is the point of all of this subterfuge? The pictures of my hair show that I was deviously scammed out of my money  by Tasha & Bre'aja plain & simple. The only acceptable outcome for this dishonest business practice which I have & am still enduring is a complete refund.Best Regards,[redacted]
