Craigslist seemed so ready, and had no reason to believe the model would not showSince we already had allocated our time for her, I took her and did the first half and last half of the Lash Class which is Theory then the insurance and marketing portionShe was handed her packet, but not the certification yet, since she must have practical application to prove her skillsWithout the model, the student decided to get lash service for herself to make use of the Technicians time, and she wanted to try them out herselfWe gave her a deal on the lashes since she was our studentShe was very satisfied, and the Technician and her really seemed to hit it offIn fact, the technician felt she was going to be a good client, and made reference to the fact how she liked herThe student then spoke to my Salon Manager to make her arrangements to come again with the model for completion of her classWhen she came a second time, the same issue occurredHer model did not make showThe student and the Salon Manager had to work up another time that could work so the student could get her practical application to complete the classA date was finally decidedOn that day the student finally had her modelThe day selected by the student was not our usual day that we do classes, but at this point we wanted to accommodate herI, the owner, of the salon came in and saw that my Technician and the student were working togetherI had checked in on them, but they were working together and I normally don't interrupt when the two are interacting and working togetherThe practical application was completed and both the student and instructor were satisfiedThe student used the facilities while I talked to the technicianThe technician conveyed to me that the student had the formula and now needs to practiceThe technician also said the student seemed comfortable in the Art of Lash Extension ApplicationWhen the student came up to the front, I checked the student out and received the rest of her paymentI asked how all wentThe reply was very positiveI gave her the certificate and thanked herAbout a week later, we received threats from herI explained we did our part and that was thatShe continued to threaten, which we have recorded on text that she sent usOf course, we did not feed into the threats and her demandsOur conclusion is we did our job, in fact, we went up and beyond for this student, and worked with her and around her schedule, which was additional time for myself and my technicianThe technician even had to change her schedule on more than one March 18, 2016Subject: ID#***occasion to accommodate the student, costing the technician and myself extra moneyShe did receive what she came for, and paid for the classWe feel that no money will be returned to the studentEspecially since we did provide the service paid and there was not an issue at the completion of the class

Review: Charged me $400 cash for eyelash extension class that was supposed to be comprehensive and allow me to do the service on the public. The training lasted all of 2 hrs total hands-on including theory as the "trainer" kept walking away. I was made to find my own model who was a stranger. Forced to pay balance at end of second day (first day 30 min second day which occurred two weeks later due to model issues) even though I was walking out of there having no more lash extension knowledge than 3weeks prior. Asked for refund the owner said no we did what we promised. What was promised was for $400 8 hr instruction by a pro. I got less than 2hrs by a disengaged amateur. I want my $400 back.Desired Settlement: $400 cash returned to me

To whom it may concern:In response to above subject, I will state the facts of the situation. A student for a class in Eyelash Extensions contacted the salon and requested information on a class. Our classes have been on a Saturday with only 1 student allowed at a time to give the student our attention and to make sure the student leaves with clarity on the skill of lash extension application. We send an itinerary out to the student once the student deposits $100. This is to secure the date and staff so no other student gets that spot. After the deposit, an e-mail goes out with the time, date, and course outline. One requirement is the student bring a model to apply the lashes, and is to arrive an hour after them. This is noted in the outline they receive. On a usual day, we spend the first part of the class covering theory and explaining the art of lashing and what needs to be understood before working on their model. After theory, the student is moved into the lash area to do practical application. They are working with their model at this point. The instructor/technician is with them to explain and show the way. We have the student actually doing the service on their model as we instruct, intervene, and help. We show the correct method and work with the student. We show how the entire process. This takes approximately 1 to 3 hours, depending on the student, and how they pick up what they are doing. We always stay close and work with them. However, there are times when we see they have the process and just want them to keep lashing allowing us to look from time to time to see if they are following the lashing instruction and the lashes are correct.
