I apologize for the confusionI’ve contacted the manager of the location you purchased from to find out what happenedPlease refer to your purchase contract; there was no trade in this dealThey may have started working a trade into it your deal, but you decided to not trade in your carIf you were to trade in your car, they can roll over the remaining $into your loanBut since there is no trade, they can’t pay off your car unless you trade it in to Low Book SalesI hope this helps the misunderstanding, have a great day: )

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never said my mechanic doesn't know what was wrong with itLess than hours after purchasing this vehicle I had it to the mechanic for the "so called osensors"My mechanic called and said he did a dry compression test, which showed there was no pressure in the engine valvesAt that point I was told, hopefully it is just an engine valve problem (which is $2000, by the way)Otherwise if it isnt and there is engine damage, we will have to purchase a new engine I filed the complaint here with the Revdex.comWithin just a couple hours, David, the mechanic, called again and stated that after completing the wet compression test, we need an engineHe stated that wouldn't hold compression eitherHe quoted me $+ tax for the new motorMy husband told your salesman this that very same dayI've stated this several times to your employees and frankly I am tired of you trying to make this my fault, like I'm dishonest and trying to get money from youAll my husband and I have ever asked for is for your company to somehow some way make this situation rightRather than even considering helping in anyway, we get a "sucks to suck" attitude from Low Book Sales Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There is no mention of the information you stated on your websiteI did request an offer from my home as you suggested, but never received a response after days That is why I came downPlease see the pictures that are a result from a "simple search" of your website and the information regarding selling All the information you provided was never stated at the dealership, I was simply told to go away and to go sell my car to [redacted] I have already sold the car to [redacted] So please send me the $250, as you said is the way to access the $promo Sincerely, [redacted]

We apologize for your experienceLow Book Sales offers a warranty for drivetrain issuesAfter that repairs become the buyers responsibilityIt is assumed that you inspected the vehicle and found it acceptable prior to purchaseWe do offer extended service contractsIf you purchased a service contract, you can take it to our authorized service providers in Las VegasWe do not have a dealership in Las Vegas anymore, if you purchased a service contract, you can take it to Pep Boys in Las Vegas, they've taken over our service contract workBest regards :)

Hi, I’m sorry for your experienceSo to get those inquiries removed, you would need to dispute it through the credit bureauLow Book Sales doesn’t have the ability to remove it, so you would need to contact them, usually through a letter to themAnd it needs to come from you, Low Book Sales can’t request something like this for you since it’s your information and your credit historyBut just to advise you to never give out your social security number or really sensitive information if you don’t want your credit pulledIf you give out this kind of information, this is called implied consentIf someone asks for it, ask why they need itAlso, with a few inquiries doesn’t really affect your credit and doesn’t affect if you can get a loan or not, banks or any lender look at your past credit historyBut if you contact the credit bureau, they should be able to take off those inquiries for youJ I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi, so we actually don’t do any returns on any of our carsHowever, we do have a day exchange policy, so you can exchange the car for a different one within that time frameBut if you don’t want a vehicle at all, I would come in and talk with the manager of that store to see if he’ll do a special exception for you :)

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Carfax and Autocheck do not determine the condition of the car They're just marketing tools for shady car dealerships to hide behind The body shop I took it to today says that someone did a shoddy job at attempting to cover up the damage The car was in better shape when you sold it to me than when you bought it? Hmmm...sounds like I can only assume that your business performed the poor repairs and neglected to disclose them to meI may consider closing this complaint if you can send me any and all information that the auction house (or whomever you purchased the car from) concerning the condition of the car at the time your dealership purchased it If you send me a Carfax or Autocheck report, I can only assume that you don't know how to read Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Unfortunately, just like yourself, we have the same resources (carfax and autocheck) to see if a vehicle has been in an accidentMost of the time, if a vehicle has been in an accident, it cant take months to show up on these reportsI have personally had the same thing happen to meAs a company, we may not have paid the same price for the vehicle had it shown and accident on the carfaxWe do sell many many cars that have had a small accident, but it will ALWAYS let the customer know, if we knowIn fact, we are one of the few dealers that allows the CUSTOMER to view all carfaxes for free on our web site

Yes we have contacted them, the credit bureau needs you to either call them or you can fill this out http://www.housing-rights.org/PDF/forms/credit_report_dispute.pdf and mail it to themBest of luck to you! :)

This customer submitted a finance application through our websiteTo be compliant and to protect our customers identity we have them verify their personal information with the sales people in the store prior to submitting them to lenders for approvalsAs long as the information verifies the same in the store as the finance application that was submitted on the website, we then submit the customers to the lenders to try and obtain approvalsI do apologize for any confusion, but I am looking at the inquiries from his credit report and I only show Low Book Sales & Leasing pulling his credit one time(See attachment of photo) I can assure you we do not lose credit reports, it was a miscommunication between the customer and my salesman which I will address with my staff.Thank you

After speaking with the General Manager of our Salt Lake locationThis car was purchased by Low Book Sales with a clean title as well as a VERY clean Carfax and Autocheck that showed One owner and zero accidentsIt was part of the reason why we purchased the car in the first placeThe car was then sold to the customer in even better condition than we bought itIf there is any chance that the vehicle was in an accident before we purchased it, there would have been no way of us knowing as we rely on Carfax and Autocheck as well as passing all vehicles through Utah state safety and emissionsIn doing our due diligence, we feel that Low Book Sales is not liable for the current condition of a used vehicleThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I know as a business you can dispute those pulls because you guys made a mistake I understand you can't go in and directly fix my credit reportI have not had any help from the manager I have spoken to about this issue and he refuses to even admit a mistake was madeMy credit score has been lowered and I have now learned because of low book sales my credit was pulled a total of not but timesI will go in and dispute it myself but I will not be satisfied until this issue is actually resolved and all of those inquiries are taken off of my fiance's and my own credit report Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was told differentlyI was told by the salesperson and the finance guy that the amount from my previous loan was being rolled over into the new loanWhatever the policy is, I reject it because I was lied to in order for them to get a sale Sincerely, [redacted] ***

My name is Anthony D***I am the General Manager at Low Book SalesWe have let these customers return their vehicle without charging them any fees or mileage chargers although it is our right to do soThis should be a non issue moving forwardThanks,Anthony D***General ManagerLow Book Sales of Salt Lake [redacted] @lowbooksales.com###-###-####

Dear Utah Revdex.com, we have responded to this complaint two different times, I am not sure if the response has not gone through or if this is an automated process that helps to ensure that we know every time that a customer has replied againAs we have stated before, to our knowledge and all of the knowledge that any car dealer has (carfax and autocheck and Utah TLR) aside from taking the vehicle apart, we would have had no way of knowing that any damage was done to this vehicleIf an accident is never reported in any way, there is no way of having knowledge of thisIt is beyond any dealership's due diligence to cause damage to a vehicle to determine previous damageOur liability lies on getting the car to pass safety and emissionsBeyond that, our company offers a day free warranty to ensure the confidence of our customers, which we honor and have done so on many occasions
