Low Country Animal Rescue

While I applaud this cause, we had a very negative experience with Low Country Animal Rescue While attempting to adopt a dog, we were treated rudely and the volunteer acted as if we were lying about the good care that our previous dog had gottenA new person at our vets office couldn't find our past records when the LCAR volunteer contacted them, but we straightened it out, informed the volunteer, arranged for the dog that we were interested in to be at the adoption fair, drove minutes to get there, fell in love with the dog, waited an hour for the rude volunteer to finally help us, only to be turned down because they hadn't followed up with our vet and still had no record of our previous dog having been on heart worm medsThe woman was incredibly rude and insulting to us and obviously delighted in telling us that someone else was also interested in the dog we wanted and got a great deal of pleasure in exercising the tiny bit of power she has in her life by turning us down rather than follow up with our vet to straighten out their records This was a very hurtful experience and I would not recommend this group to anyone
