Low Price Tires Reviews (3)

Review: Bought new tires on 6-14-2013. They balanced them several times. Tires still was out of balance. They rotated tires, still wouldn't balance. Owners of shop drove truck with me. I pointed out the speed of shaking ocur. He claimed he didn't feel nothing. Me and my family was going on vacation, he told me to go on that he would take care of the problem when I got back. He said my front end was the cause. I had front end aligned 2 times, paid out of pocket for balance. Tires wouldn't balance. Shop broke 2 tires down and turned them trying to balance them, still wouldn't balance. Went back to owner of shop, showed him receipt where I paid for balance and alignment. He tried to balance them again. They broke 2 lug studs off front. When I didn't know they were broke until I got to Louisiana. When I washed my truck, call him up and told him about that and shaking.

He said don't worry, he would take care of the problem. When I get back, I went over 4,000 miles that way with 3 kids, a baby, and 4 adults in truck. When I returned, went to see him he told me my [redacted] front end wasn't no good causing the problem. Go to AutoZone and buy lug studs and nuts, I told him that's his job. He then told me to leave. I wasn't on his property, I was parked on street. I then told him I was taking the truck to Chevrolet to be checked. I did and u see the results. All I want is 2 new tires, the money I paid Chevrolet, money I paid another shop try to balance tires and pay Chevrolet for lug studs and nuts replacement and 2 new tires balance. I don't want them to balance tires anymore cuz they will be incorrect. He also said he was tired of me the last time I went there. What if tire would have run off because of the broken lugs? I feel he should be made pay. Cursing me is not acceptable.Desired Settlement: I don't want them balancing my tires. I want Big O to do that. I don't want them replacing lug studs, I want Chevrolet to do that.

1. Replace 2 defective tires

2. Pay for replacing lug studs and nuts

3. Pay money back for front end alignment and balancing that I had to do and pay money for dealer to check front end.

Response:

Initial Business Response

The problem is solve, the customer has a bent rim.

Final Business Response

Company states that the tires were not the cause of the problem the consumer is complaining about. He told the customer that the vehicle had some issues that needed to be fixed in order for the "ride" to be smooth, one being his bent rims. This is an older vehicle and the customer was not willing to put in the money needed in order to make it run smoothly. The tires sold to him were fine and they were willing to do additional work but the consumer wouldn't listen.

Review: Please! Do not disclose my personal info. I do not want this buisness to come and do harm. I want other people to know that of their rights, against buissness like this. I went to this business because I am retired and a vietnam veteran in the navy 1964 thru 1968, not enough money. I requested two new tires that I bought at [redacted] mounted on my 87 toyota truck, also exchange of my 4 good tires for two used from his ([redacted]'s) Low Price Tires. I also requested my spare tire to be mounted on another rim,[redacted] the owner said it would be $70.00 I agreed. The attendant completed the work, I complained about one used tire he installed, the tire is cracked and not safe, he said it is ok, If you dont like it buy two more new. I went home found out my spare tire was not same I had before. I went back talked to the owner ([redacted]) he said If I wanted a better tire to buy new, how about the spare tire? He said the attendant was not there. I asked, what are you going to do something about it, or do I have to make a complaint! He told me to get the hell out out of his shop. So I left.Even if I dont get anything back of my money, I would like him to treat his customers with dignity and respect.sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: As I stated above, if I dont get a refund I would like customers to know they dont have to take this abuse from a bulley like sam. I asked for a reciept for the work, all I got was a blank paper that reads exactly as follows:2 tire mount, 4 tire balance, 2 used tires $70.00 cash, the business stamp:LOW PRICE TIRES108 INDUSTRIAL PARK DRMANTECA CA 95337 [PAID[redacted] name of attendantno tax paid!

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: When the tire is in the rack it looks ok, but when it's inflated you can see the cracks all around it. I pointed this to the attendant and he said buy new ones then. This tire in question I had a blow out on the highway luck on my side no injuries. On the response by the business he stated for me to check the paper work. The paper work I received as a receipt was a hand written blank paper that reads as follows: 2 tire mount, 4 tire balance, 2 used tires $70.00 cash, the business stamp: LOW PRICE TIRES 108 INDUSTRIAL PARK DR. MANTECA CA 95337, PAID [redacted], name of attendant. The attendant said he didn't have access to the normal store receipt, I have it as proof. I stated on my initial complaint that I requested my spare tire rim be switched with another one, when I got home I checked and my spare tire which was in good condition was replaced with a larger size tire and had a nail in it. After the blown tire, I have purchased two more new tires from sears for $79.96. I will never again buy a used tire.

Review: Transmission replaced and has transmission warning light flashing.

In May 2013 you verbally offered to fix my car and said you would fix/replace my transmission for a good price. In June of 2013 we spoke on the phone and you told me my transmission had been replaced and the car was running, but there was still a problem and that the neutral light is flashing continuously when the car is running. You told me that after I paid your $1000 fee for replacement of the transmission, I needed to take my car to a dealership to diagnose the problem and pay for the diagnostic and repair. No one called me to tell me that there was a problem during the replacement as customary in these situations so that I could approve or disapprove the work.

The car still has an unknown problem and according to Mitsubishi the flashing light indicates a transmission problem and has not been repaired correctly. I want my car returned as it was when I gave it to you. Desired Settlement: I want my car returned as it was when I gave it to you.
