11/22/10:am telephone response obtained from the company as follows: The company stated the consumer did sign a contract and the job was to be finished around October 16th.The company stated that they did not finish on the 16th due to scheduling conflicts, some the consumer's and some the
company's. The company stated that they sent a text to the consumer on 10/17/to advise them that they would be there on the 17th.The company stated that the consumer requested receipts and then the consumer sent a text stating that the company doesn't have to finish the job that they can just come get their money. The company stated that the consumer then stated that the company needs to finish the job or refund half of the money paid. The company stated that they did go look at job to see what was left to do and told the consumer that they could come over that Friday, 10/20/after work.The company stated that the consumer was upset that they couldn't do job right then and there The company stated on Friday they got off work late, they contacted the consumer to advise them they would be there after 7pm and fell asleep.The company stated that they sent a text to the consumer Saturday, 10/to advise what happened and said they could come Sunday morningThe company stated the consumer did not respond.The company stated they sent another text Sunday at 9:49am, the consumer still did not respond. The company stated they do have the molding for around the doors & window and they needed to modify the pipe the consumer wanted to hang but they never got a chance to go back and finish. The company stated the issues with the nails sticking out, they just have to put the frame on.The company stated that the contract signed by the consumer does state that should the consumer choose to stop the job, any monies paid are forfeited and work completed must be paid for
