I sold LowerMyPropertyTaxes.com I have nothing to do with it anymore.
Review: I entered into a contract with CPC Finance for $279 in August 2011 for them to lower the property taxes on my house. For a year I received sporadic updates on what they were doing on my behalf, but was told this process could take a while. In October 2013 I noticed my property taxes went UP $500. I contacted CPC Finance and asked that they refund my $279 application fee. Section 5b of the contract I signed states "In the event that the tax payer's property tax assessment for the year/s 2011-2012 is not reduced .... Representative shall refund in full the fee paid by tax payer to Representative under this agreement." Not only was 2011-2012 not reduced, but neither was 2012-2013 or 2013-2014. I have a chain of emails from Mr. Mann at CPC Finance with various excuses (out of town, uncle died, friend had a heart attack, aunt has a brain tumor, etc) about why I haven't received my refund. I finally got Mr. Mann on the phone in February 2014 and asked when I could expect my refund. He became verbally aggressive. He shouted expletives then hung up. I still have not received my refund.Desired Settlement: I want my $279 refunded.
