We have reviewed [redacted] membership and documentsUnfortunately, we did not find any documentation on file of a cancellation document or letter received in the pastWe do have his membership document on file showing he signed up online on September 25, In the agreement, it states cancellation policies,which are coming into the home club to sign a cancellation document or sending us cancellation letter in the mail via certifiedWe do state certified mail so that way we can notify the member that we have physically received itTo help [redacted] out with the situation, we could transfer his membership to a Planet Fitness that is more convenient for him to go into and cancel the memberhship.Thank you,-Rocky River Planet Fitness

I first attempted to cancel my membership with Planet Fitness in person on May 10th, which the reply states is an acceptable way to do so as stated in the contract I signed. However despite being told this, Planet Fitness neglected to cancel my membership continued to charge me an additional $60. While finally making good on cancelling the account is helpful, I still had $60 taken from me after I was explicitly told by Planet Fitness staff that my membership had already been cancelled. Without a refund, my complaint cannot be resolved.
