I visited Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa Florida with my kids and was very upset by the time I leftWithin minutes of being at the Zoo I am greeted by a large black snake at my feetI complain to security and their response is "As long as its not poisonous its OK" ( like I really want to find out)I take my kids to a different area only to find another large snake going towards my year old, who is screaming and cryingSo I leave within an hour of making a trip to TampaWhat was suppose to be a fun family day, was a nightmareI complained as I was leaving but I received the same scripted response and was told to have a nice day while I was explaining the snake problem scares the kidsNo solution was given or offered for their neglegence, nor did they care to listenI did not pay to be surrounded by uncaged snakes
A snake can still hurt people even if it's not poisonousLowry Park Zoo put my kids in danger by their infestation of snakes and I will not return nor will I recommen
