*** called our salon, Lox Unlimited, inquiring about having her hair fixed that she and her husband colored and tried to fix at homeWe asked *** to come into the salon for a color correction consultation so we could evaluate her hairShe used over the counter, color, bleach, and other chemicals
(color remover) that are damaging to the hair.Upon consulting with ***, I explained to her that her color correction would take - sessions and I would not do the correction all in one day, as to protect the integrity of her hairI gave *** a written estimate of the steps that needed to be taken and the cost of each step, which totaled roughly $- $I gave her the written estimate to bring home to discuss with her husband, because she stated he would be paying for the services because he was the one that messed up her hair*** called back later that day to schedule the first step in the process, she was on a budget anf told me she could only afford to do the single process with bleach and oloplex and a toner, which totaled $I told her the goal of the first step is to even out the color as much as possibleWe would have to see how the hair lifted being she used over the counter products and not professional productsTherefore, I had to be extremly careful about what we did to her hair as to not damage her hair any further than she did at homeWe completed the first step, I dried har hair, she said she was happy with the service, she paid and tipped me $I even trimmed her hair for free before we startedMy professional recommendation at this point was to repeat this process again and then do the highlighting and lowlighting or base color, to achieve the look of the picture she likedShe told me she would call to schedule that when her husband gets his next paycheckShe called the next day to say she wasn't happy with her hairI explained to her again that it would take - sessions to complete the color correctionI asked her if she would like to schedule the next step in the processShe said she didn't want to, and I was under the impression she wanted me to continue the process, free of chargeI feel I gave *** adequate expectations of the process, the steps involved and the cost, in a written estimate for her to take homeColor corrections take time, money, knowledge of hair color techniques and patience to completeOne simply cannot discontinue the process in the middle and expect to achieve the desired final resultIf *** would like to continue the process at the price we discussed I would be happy to continue the process

I am rejecting this response because:
As the stylist said in her response our main goal with the first session was to EVEN out the hair which was NOT what she had  even tried achieve. In fact, she made my hair WAY lighter then what I had asked for in the very beginning. While I understood that it would take multiple session I was told that I would leave the salon with 1 solid even colored hair which I did not recieve... The extra sessions for highlights we had talked about were to simply give my hair dimension but over all I had asked for my hair to be EVEN. After I left lox unlimited, I had multiple consultations at other very upstanding salons to get professional opinions what to do about my hair looking ridiculous and EVERY stylist I consultated with had said that they would never allow a client to walk out of a salon looking the way I walked out of lox unlimited and that although my final look wasn't achieved they stated that they would have at the very LEAST made my color even from root to end and were confused as to why she didn't do that. They had further stated that if a client was not happy w with a service within the first 3 days of the service given that they would correct the issue free of charge. Also the stylist I had seen, I feel had kind of taken advantage of the fact that I had said my husband would pay for it. As for me being happy with it when I left, it was pitch dark outside and wasn't able to see the true color in natural light until the following day. 3 days after I left lox unlimited and had multiple consultations with different salons, I ended up going to holiday hair where they COMPLETELY fixed the mess I left lox with for $70.  If I'm not given my money back at this point, I want to carry this complaint to the highest level. I feel when it comes to salons and hair the customer is always right, after all I have to walk around like this not her and I feel it's HORRIBLE customer service to not fix a clients complaint when they paid a decent amount of money for a poorly executed service.
