My name is *** ***. I am the new GM for Kia of Stockton. It was brought to my attention that there was a complaint made by a customer regarding a aftermarket windshield as well as molding that was not present. Unfortunately, I have people that we talk on a daily basis that want
us to fix a problem caused by wear and tear or by the customer. When this was brought to my attention, I was a month into my position. I also was informed that it was a cracked windshield. I was never told about any molding. The cars we certify go through a proper inspection and everything is check on the car. Most of the times we replace the windshield and it might be an aftermarket windshield, but it still is covered under warranty. The customer never came to us regarding any issue. She went to Elk Grove Kia who in turn told her something that was untrue. I am more than happy to have her bring in the vehicle and let us put on the molding that she claims was never there. All Kias have no molding on top of the windshield. It’s designed that way. But I am more than happy to inspect all her concerns that she has regarding the molding and fix and problems. Customer purchased Oil for Life with full disclosure and later changed his mind on the purchaseHe called the dealership insulting everyone that spoke with him using very inappropriate and offensive languageAfter he spoke with the finance manager, his cancellation was processed at the dealership level and once it is completed thru corporate and the Oil for Life program, the proceeds will be sent to the financial institution that financed the vehicle for this customer

I are not a credit agency that can remove inquires.  The customer did come in on our lot.  She did apply for financing.  She signed the credit application and wanted to purchase a vehicle.  However, she did not qualify for any financing at the moment.  She then called in to...

have her husbands credit run.  Both did not qualify.  We do not run credit without the consent of our customer.  If she would like to get them removed, she can contact the 3 bureaus. Just because she was unable to obtain financing, does not allow her to say things that are not true.    I have added her communication with our team.  We are open to helping her out in any which way.  Please let us know how I can assist.   Thank you.

The complaint and problem was actually misunderstood by the customer and we explained it completely to her that the car had and has no problems.  We showed her everything.  I got my service manager involved and we resolved her issues.  The problem should have never been brought to the Revdex.com, since it was the customers misperception.  I also gave my personal information, as well as my Service managers, just in case she may have additional concerns and questions.  The problem is resolved.
