Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
We asked Lu Gran to give the room another coat of paint to make it more smooth and uniform. We have attached photos of the poor quality of work that he left us with two months agoNot only does Lu Gran not accept any responsibility for the stripes on our walls, he has refused further communication with us. He tricked us into giving him the final payment saying "Everything will look OK once it dries." Lu Gran, kindly please come back and give the wall a uniform coat of paint. We will provide the paint according to contract

The contractor decided to leave early on his last day of work before the paint was dry, and most importantly, before all customers were home to see the final paint job. The contractor was clearly told by one of the customers that the other customer would be home soon to check the work, and that there may be some touch ups to doIt was the contractor's own choice to leave early as he did, and it was the contractor's own decision not to come back to the customers after a few weeks timeAs the customers have stated repeatedly, when the contractor finally did come back, the contractor was asked to give the room extra coat of paint to make the walls uniform and smooth in colorThe contractor agreed and he was to receive the final payment after finishing the workHowever, the contractor tricked the customers by only making touch-ups with a brush, not giving the room an entire extra coatHe said everything would look just fine after his touch ups dried, even though the customer knew something was terribly wrongThen, the contractor insisted to receive the final payment, even though the customer didn't want to hand it over yet. The customer was pressured by the contractor into doing soIn the end, what Lu Grad had done, was to make major stripes on the customer's walls with his brush strokesThis work deserves a final payment? Lu Gran -- we kindly ask you. PleasePleasePlease come back and fix our walls that you messed up. We will provide the paint for you as required by contract

After my paint touch ups were done. [redacted] said I hope is the same color
that's when I said I wouldn't work if different.
Paint was used on walls , not stolen.
I clean up after every job. Empty cans will go in garbage.
As signed contract said...

"homeowner will supply paint"
as I explain to homeowner "if color is different I will have to paint the room again "
obviously I will have to charge for the job , that's when homeowner decided to start this complaints.

Review: We had [redacted] paint a small room. We were not satisfied with the paint job. So we asked [redacted] to come back to paint another coat. Before he started repainting, we asked him where the original paint cans were, paint we provided according to contract. We needed the cans to match the paint and buy more of it. [redacted] said he took the cans and that he didn't know where the cans were. So we gave him another gallon of paint for an extra coat on the walls. The paint was of the same color and from the same store, but it turned out that we gave him brand "[redacted]" instead of "regal select". Anyway, we asked him to paint another coat on the walls. But he insisted on only cutting in on the walls (he only painted the top and bottom edges of the walls). He did not roll an extra coat over the entire of the walls like we had asked him to. He just did touch ups. While he was painting, we noticed that this was not working; the touch ups were standing out and not blending in with the first paint job. [redacted] insisted that everything would be OK after everything dried. But it was not OK. We were right in the end. It was not OK to paint just the edges of the walls and just do touch ups, because now there are major stripes on our walls, even after everything has now dried. The walls of the room need another coat of paint, like we originally asked him to do. This problem would not have happened had [redacted] not stolen our paint cans, or if he had just rolled another coat over the walls like we had asked him to.Desired Settlement: [redacted], please come back and paint another coat for the walls. We provide the paint.
