I bought a Ford Escape XLT on April 7,He wanted $ [redacted] for it I told him I would give him $ [redacted] cash after taxes I paid $***Was suppose to have a month warrantyAfter a week the abs light came on and the 4xlight began flashing I took truck to [redacted] downtown Halifax I paid $ [redacted] plus tax for them to scan itDiagnosis was passenger side axel needed to be replaced die to a ring for 4xthat was glued back together before I bought truck as well as abs sensor needing to be replacedOf course warranty didn't cover that it was a $ [redacted] fix however after calling [redacted] at Capital Auto sales he said he would fix it for $ [redacted] plus taxPaid $ [redacted] cash a week later lights came back onLast week my transmission blew up insideI only had the truck for months week it has km on it now I bought it at almost 160000kmThey say I am over my warranty that it is months or lmI wasn't told nothing bout 3000km and apparently I signed warranty would hour looking at it as I was trusting I had monthsOn my bill of sale it says months nothing about kmVery upset with this placeNext step is legal action
I bought a car from this company in the spring of They had a promotion on that offered new winter tires I agreed to a trade plus cash deal The next day whne I went to pick up the car I was told because it was not a straight up sale I did not qualify for the promotional offerI complained to the owner [redacted] who agree to honor the ad I had to go back twice to get the tires but finally finished the deal I just had the winter tires installed and found out two were very worn, and not even the same tires They gave me two new and two very used tires!! I called the dealer who of course refused to do anything for me, he was the same guy who tried to wiggle out of the deal in the first place It's places like this that give this industry a bad name, [redacted]
