I would give it a negative -5 if I could. Worst freaking experience ever! Biggest [redacted], dumbest so called mechanics ever!! Worst customer service, don't bring your vehicle here, STAY AWAY! You've been warned. You WILL regret it I promise you. Email me and I will personally tell you more about his horrific lube n go. Beyond screwed up place. Please don't go here I I'm serious

Review: The automatic transmission fluid was changed totally incorrectly for the type of vehicle that I own. This huge error caused my transmission to run abnormally. Now,I have to warm my car up for quite a lenghth of time before I can drive it, and before it can shift into the proper gear. Lube N Go performed the wrong service for my type of car regarding the transmission fluid change.I had the manager drive my car after it was returned to me to show him first hand that my car was not changing gears correctly. I trusted their judgement. I also called customer service, and when my call was returned by the owner, he was very rude to me and demanded proof by another shop to show that my car was not running right. He refused to refund me my money.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back in the amount of $124.00 (Onehundred-twentyfour Dollars and No Cents)IN CASH, as soon as possible!

To whom it may concern,

My name is [redacted], I am the owner of LubeNGo, and am the person who dealt with this customer. This customer was untruthful to me, as well as in his statement to the Revdex.com.

This customer came in to my Atascadero store requesting a transmission fluid exchange. The service was not recommended in the course of any other service review such as our 26 point oil change service. He wanted the transmission service ONLY, and requested it of his own volition with no prompting. He reported to our technician that he wanted the transmission fluid exchanged due to his belief that it was time to do it based on the manufacturer prescribed interval. In that we had not performed service on this vehicle previously, we had no way to know if it had been serviced previously, or when. We exchanged the fluid with the manufacturer required fluid. At no time was any pressure put on the system that would adversely effect the normal operation of the transmission.

The customer came back a few days after the service, saying the vehicle was not shifting properly. We checked the fluid level, which was spot on, and my manager Steve took a test drive with the customer. Steve reported that the transmission seemed to be operating properly. After showing the customer that the transmission level was correct, and that the proper fluid was used, and showing him how our machine works, and would not damage a transmission, we advised any further transmission exploration should be conducted by a third party transmission shop.

I then had a phone conversation with the customer a couple weeks ago. I found the customer to be untruthful and demeaning. He reported that he took the car to a transmission shop a week before we serviced it and they said it was in perfect condition. I asked him if that was the case, why would he bring the car to us and specifically request that the transmission fluid be exchanged? He had no answer for this. He then went on to say, that we had money and he did not, and asked why we could not just fix it. The more I talked to this gentleman the more I became convinced that his complaints had no merit.

The final resolution I proposed to the customer was to take the vehicle to a third party transmission shop and have them communicate to me their findings. He said he did not have the money in case it was not our fault. In essence he wanted us to fix his problem whether it was our responsibility or not. Knowing our service, and the fact that transmissions are not "broken" when transmission fluid is exchanged, I am confident we are not culpable. Again I would advise the customer to have a third party transmission shop look at the vehicle and report their findings to me.

Respectfully, [redacted]
