Always been respectful and knowledgeable. I have gotten many oil changes, brakes replaced and other services

On 11/12/2018 I had an oil change at Lube+. One of the workers asked me to press on my brakes and he told me my 3rd brake light (bottom of window) was burnt out. Not knowing how to change the light I asked him to do it for me. I asked him if he had the bulb in stock and said yes. He opened the trunk and proceeded to yank on the bulb at least4 times. I could see him pulling on something and hearing the loud noise from the front seat. You are not allowed to get out of your car. He then asked the man below the car who was changing the oil to come up and look at the light. He showed me the bulb, said something to the man who took it out and instantly said we don't have the bulb. I said but you didn't check your inventory first and why did you remove something you know you didn't have. He said to go to Canadian Tire which was a short distance from the lube shop and get one. I said I will go get one and bring it back and you can insert it because I don't know how to. He said it is very easy. Just put it in and turn the socket in like a light bulb. I went right to Canadian Tire but didn't have the bulb he took out and looked at the socket and noticed right away that a green wire was broken from the socket. Not knowing if this is the way it goes I purchased a new bulb and took it to my son to put in He works at *** and should know something about cars. He asked why the wire was pulled apart. The new bulb did not work. He put the socket back in with a simple turn so that the socket and wires would not be hanging and cause more damage. I have had the car for only 1-1/2 years and was not aware that light was out. My last oil change was with this shop and they did check all my brake lights. I returned to the shop on November 20. I spoke with the manager (I think) and he looked at the car and said because my son returned the socket back in he could have done it. He said it is a case of he said/she said. He was very nice and said he would go over his security camera inside the shop and call me No call.
