Business Response / [redacted] (1001, 15, 2014/05/19) */ We as a store went far and beyond what can we do to solve the matterfirst, we took a loss and we returned a furniture after the costumer used it for two months (this is used furniture, and we do only new furniture), the reason costumer provided was to redecoration!! To Lubna furniture none of the funiture was used everything was purchased brand new. The original furniture was furniture that was not the same as seen in the books or the websites. What I received was different from what was originallly picked out. So there fore [redacted] agreed to take it back. I asked [redacted] when will they pick up the furniture. I was told that it will be picked up when the new furniture comes in. [redacted] explained to me that the original set was not going to be picked up until the new set was to be delivered. In which it took the company about 2 months. I called [redacted] multiple times to ask when will the new furniture be delivered and he kept giving me the run around.. He finally called me on March 15, 2014 saying that he will deliver the furniture at 11:00 am. He came to my home and he inspected the doorways and the original furniture as well. He said everything was ok. He told me that the furniture will be at my home at 1:00 pm that day. It was never delivered.. I was told the next day it would come . [redacted] came to our premises on March the 21st of 2014. She purchased a runner carpet and a chest. She was glad to find the "right stuff with cheap price". [redacted] left with her runner and we ordered that chest and were...

suppose to be delivered within 10 business days. When we received the chest and the delivery process started, our staff noticed upon checking that the chest is scratched badly. We inform [redacted] about this, and we order a replacement for the defective chest. The replacement chest made it in on the 2nd of April. [redacted] called us and she was informed that we received her chest, and it will be delivered within the next (24 to 36) hrs max. [redacted] insisted on getting the chest right a way!! We informed [redacted] that we could not deliver right away, because there were other deliveries scheduled that day. But she insisted on having it right away, so we welcomed her to pick it up herself and we will drop off any delivery charges, but she refused.
1. We are proud to serve the community around for the last 20 years and we are offering reasonable prices if not the lowest at all. We always worked with our customers to get them what they needed. We offered them financing, lay away...etc.
2. It was less than 10 business days from [redacted] order (on 3/21/2014) till the second/replacement chest was received (on 04/02/2014)!! It was only 9 business days only.
3. We are working on a delivery schedule. We cannot deliver to [redacted] the same day we receive the merchandise because we have other deliveries scheduled already.
4. We have in our catalogs more than 900 bedroom sets (i.e. 900 different chests), out of which 65 bedroom set are mostly common and sold often, and also we had 18 bedroom set on special. Any piece out of those is going to be special order.
5. Our area of operation has many lower income people up to middle class people, and in order to keep affording low prices, we ask our people in being reasonable especially in the delivery days, and for the time needed for ordering the furniture.
6. That fee for cancelling special order is not for us. It is what we pay to take it back to the manufacture.
7. The whole matter with [redacted] does not worth all of this. She could have waited for her delivery turn or picked it up herself.

First of all,my name is [redacted],not [redacted]SECONDLY,THEY ARE LYING,THE STORE DID NOT CALL ME AND TELL ME ABOUT THE CSCRATCH,I CALLED THEM TO CHECK ON THE DELIVERY.MR.LEE LIED AND SAID HE CALLED MY JOB,BUT HE ONLY HAD MY HOME AND CELL NUMBER AND USED NEITHER TO CALL ME.I ALSO WAS NOT OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY OF TAKING THE CHEST HOME MY SELF,WHY WOULD I TRY TO PUT A CHEST IN MY CAR,THATS WHY I ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR DELIVERY.NOR DID THEY OFFER TO DROP ANY DELIVERY CHARGES,HAD THAT BEEN THE CASE,I MAY HAVE WAITED ON THE DELIVERY EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID 7-8 DAYS.I JUST GOT TIRED OF THEIR RUNAROUND ATTITUDE WITH ME.ALSO I NEVER AGREED THAT THE MERCHANDISE WAS THE CHEAP STUFF AT THE RIGHT PRICE.IM GLAD THEY RECONIZE THAT THEY HAVE CHEAP STUFF.I STILL INSIST THAT THE CHEST WAS NOT A SPECIAL ORDER,I CAN SEND A COPY OF THE CONTRACT TO SHOW YOU THAT THERE IS NO SPECIAL ORDER WRITTEN IN IT.I PLAN TO FIRTHER CONTINUE THIS MATTER UNTIL I AM FULLY SATISFIED WITH LUBNAS RESPONSE.
