Review: we brought the truck in via tow due to the truck dying on the roadway. we brought it in on a friday night after hours. we spoke to the dealership first thing sat morning to explain the situation. we were advised that there was no staff at the shop to look at the turck and that it would have to wait for monday. monday came and we spoke to the shop where they claim they were going to have someone look it over and try to diagnosis the problem. come tuesday there was still no resolution. finally after my husband began to complain they finally did the diagnostic that they claimed they did on monday and said that the issue was the ICP part and that it needed to be replaced and that it was not covered under the warranty.. we agreed to have it fixed and then we were told that oh its not the issue and that they still have to run additional diagnostics at $150 per hour and that it can take a few hours to run. we argured that we should not have to pay for the diagnostics to be ran as well as the part that they claim was the issue when in fact it wasnt the issue. The dealership refused to cooperate and we had to pay $592.27 for the a repair that was not needed and an additional $407 to have the truck towed out of the dealership to a different dealership due to the additional costs we were going to accure at $150 per hour for them to sit and stare at the truck while a diagnostic was being ran. we went as far as calling ford national to file a complaint and for assistance and the dealership still refused to cooperate. They would not release our vehicle until we paid for the unnecessary repairs that were done on the truck.Desired Settlement: we want a full refund of the cost for the repairs to the truck that was not necessary of $592.27 along with the $407 towing fee because they were not able to do their job properly and diagnose the truck the correct way the first time.
