Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. With respect, what has arrived is not a response to the pictures of sloppy work done on my home In reference to the letter submitted by [redacted] ***, President of the Homeowners Association at [redacted] ***, the other association members may be satisfied with the work done on their homes, but, I am not and the pictures I have submitted remain proof that sloppy, almost incompetent work was done on my home Furthermore, [redacted] asserts that he witnessed "with his own eyes" previous painters painting the light fixture MrYialouris' team painted, among the areas and items Yialouris was not contracted to paint and then ruined them in the process This is a complete fabrication [redacted] saw no such thing When a judge scratches the surface of that light fixture, he will see the original white powder coating that the fixture arrived with, out of the box Both Lowes and Home Depot stock this particular light fixture year round [redacted] Painting didn't paint that fixture It still had the white powder coating and that's why Yialouris' guys' paint job didn't stick - they were using regular paint on a powder coating, which any painter would know is wrong My complaint still stands, supported by the pictures of just some of the sloppy work done on my home, reinforced by a complete fabrication on the part of [redacted] ***, HOA president If MrYialouris would like to return to correct the work, I'd be happy to have him come back.Best regards, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Attn *** ***:Dear ***,My apologies for the delay - your follletter arrived while I was on vacation. What complicates this complaint is the fact that Lucas Yialouris was first retained by the Homeowners Association of *** *** to paint the common area railings and metal
surfaces surrounding our docks, for which there is one overarching contract Later on, MrYialouris offered to paint the lintels on our individual properties, for which a second contract and corresponding invoice was generated for each homeowner - there are of us Both jobs are equally poorly executedBut, the fact that neither contract listed my backdoor, back door light fixtures and ceiling of my entryway, among other things, says it all His company's work is sloppy They did absolutely no prep work - taping up or laying down drop cloths - which are the 101s of painting How they've been in business this long is a mystery. All areas, among others, are now a complete mess, but, what brought me to this complaint was the belligerence that followed my request to have these items cleaned up If you are a true professional, with years of experience in a company started by your grandfather, one would think you'd want to fix what are obvious signs of unprofessional, in fact incompetent work I will send additional pictures as a follow-up, from my recent trip home.Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.*** ***

[redacted]Attn: [redacted]    Re: Complaint  ID # [redacted] Ms. [redacted]
[redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted], The following is in reference to your letter dated 9/21/2016 regarding the above noted complaint.  Ms. [redacted] was not on the original contract with the Homeowners Association back in February because she did not want her home painted.  However, she began making persistent phone calls to my home in June after we began work for the other homeowners to include her home, so she subsequently initaled the orignal Homeowners Association agreement and signed the addedum specifcally for her home June 14, 2016 (attached). Attached is an e-mail dated June 18, 2016 from Ms. [redacted] thanking us for the "fantastic" "beautiful" work we did and saying we were a pleasure to have around.  Also attached is a letter from the Association President providing a review of our work.  We sent her an invoice for the completed work June 21, 2016 and after she received it, suddenly there were issues.  I went back and addressed disputed items twice that were sent to us via e-mail dated August 8, 2016 from Mr. [redacted], Ms. [redacted]'s contact person on her behalf.I have tried to resolve this a few ways and times without any success.  The last time we were going to meet was August 19, 2016 to resolve this issue, but she filed this complaint on August 18, 2016.  I don't feel this is any way to resolve a dispute. As of this date, Ms. [redacted] has never attempted to pay the invoice (attached) of  $530.00 (there was never a deposit taken for this work).  In the complaint, she mentions that she wants us to "walk away and leave me alone."  We are willing to forgive her payment to us as long as she signs a waiver releasing us from all responsibility. Thank you,Lucas YialourisPresident  Lucas Yialouris Painting CorporationAttachments
